Title: Women 9-0 Brown
Post by: Ben on October 29, 2011, 03:00:05 PM
Starting: Campbell, White, Karpenko, Fortino, Rougeau, Slebodnick

Second line forwards starting, possible goalie platoon. Interesting.

Cornell leads 2-0 after the first period.

6-0 after a late second-period goal barrage.  It's unfortunate that so many ECAC games are this one-sided (shots 33-7 after two).

This is just murder. I'm going to call 9-0 final, it seems like Derraugh tells them to ease off when they get close to double-digits.

They are now just cycling the puck up 8-0 with 10 mins to go.  They may not shoot on net again.

I'm still puzzled by the team's lack of depth.  They're skating three lines and five defensemen.  Last year, when several players were with the Canadian team, they had only ten or eleven skaters.  Five of the fourteen skaters dressed today will graduate next spring, and there are only eighteen skaters on the roster.

9-0 final. Karpenko had four, Saulnier two, Leck, Fulton, and Rougeau with one each.

They'll get Hompe (F) back when soccer season ends, and I wonder if Paulson (D) and Cook (F) are injured. Could be that Barley-Maloney (F), the transfer, is hurt as well.

We'll need whomever we can get for Harvard/Dartmouth weekend in two weeks' time. 4/5ths of our top line (all but Saulnier) and Derraugh will be with the Canadian NT.
