You people are missing the point. It isn't that the debt ceiling negotiations are boring (which they are) but that even HOCKEY threads devolve into political backbiting. Can you imagine if we started with politics?

More like time wasting game du year. This one is big. For now. Rita, you remember pet rocks? Moon rocks? Nehru jackets? Hula hoops and hot pants (renamed) are the only fads that truly last. Unless platform shoes and Wham! make comebacks.
