Title: New Recruit - Patrick McCarron
Post by: pfibiger on April 08, 2011, 07:42:15 PM
A defenseman for 2012, Patrick McCarron from St. Michael's Buzzers, the team that (most recently) brought us Nick D'Agostino, Erik Axell and Greg Miller.

He was one of the subjects of this NY Times article. It appears his father owns the Buzzers.

As far as I can tell, he's not related to John McCarron, a forward who's coming next year.

I must be too thick. I know the puzzle, but how does it pertain here?

It took me a couple reads.  I'll just ask, "Where were the survivors buried?"

Well I guess the point must be that you need a doctor to have birth. Having delivered babies, that point never came to me, especially birth in a car. Oh well.

Trotsky linked the word border to the old silly brain teaser:  "A plane crashed on the border of the USA and Canada.  Where were the survivors buried?"  Then he connected that to another brain teaser about a father and son in an auto accident.  "I can't operate on this boy.  He's my son."

So the old inmate explains to his new cellmate, "Some people can tell 'em and and some people can't."

I know the doctor puzzle, I just don't see what it has to do with giving birth while driving across the border at midnight; oh well, such is life.
