7-2 Cornell at the half but Pannell left the game late 2nd period with an apparent shoulder/arm injury after a late hit.
With no call against Penn either. I'd be lying if I didn't hope that whoever on Penn had the late hit gets lit up by someone.
Dreadful third period, giving up six goals. Penn seemingly scoring at will after doing little in the first half. Pannell seems to be OK, scoring two and assisting on another in the period. Cornell can't keep losing face-offs.
What's the score, 10-8?
12-12 late. Cornell has lost the ball countless times while trying to run through double teams.
Edit: 2:51 to go, Cornell with ball and time out.

OT
Yale beats Princeton in OT.
Cornell wins face-off. Time out after Mock breaks stick. Cornell possession.
Lang from Lau. C wins.
Way too close after how Cornell handled Stony Brook. A good W to have.

Whew. Thanks, Al.
Whoa, that was tough. Penn played us as physically as I can remember. Good thing we won the FO to start OT
Hopkins all over Virginia, 7-3 at the half.
Meanwhile, Yale took down Princeton 33 seconds into OT, 8-7.
Will there be any Princeton players left to play us at season's end? (Probably yes.) Note the Schreiber, the hot freshman, came back to play againt Yale.

Princeton was already without All-America attackman Jack McBride, who is out with a groin injury, and starting defenseman Rob Castelo, who tore two knee ligaments and broke his kneecap in Princeton's lone win, which came three weeks ago against Johns Hopkins. All-America midfielder Mike Chanenchuk had to withdraw from school after he broke his collarbone in the fall, and Princeton has been without other key players such as Tom Schreiber and Jonathan Meyers, both of whom returned from their injuries to play against Yale.

One wonders whether we will be presented with a chance to end Princeton's season nice and early on April 30th.
Close Ivy games yesterday. Cornell over Penn and Yale over Princeton in OT. Dartmouth over Harvard by one on a literally last second goal. Brown over Vermont by two.
Just noticed that the Cornell game at Harvard will be played in Harvard Stadium and will be televised on CBS College Sports.

I know you were just using an expression, but I wouldn't call that nice. Rather beat them at full strength.

Sure sure. All I was saying was that, considering how this Ivy tournament thang seems meant to allow an underperforming, say, Princeton team (though it could certainly end up being Cornell at some point) bootstrap itself into the tournament, that April 30th game could be "win or go golfing" for Princeton, i.e., they could end up shut out of the Ivy tournament and out of the NCAAs (sub-.500, or the only thing that keeps an ACC team out) if we win.
