One way or another, Coach Schafer will be setting an ECAC record by coaching in tonight's championship game. He'll either win his record sixth one (currently tied at 5 wins with St. Lawrence's Joe Marsh) or lose his record fifth (currently tied at 4 losses with Harvard's Bill Cleary and Clarkson/BC's Len Ceglarski).
Coaching in his 10th championship game extends his own record (Marsh is second with 8)

But we need a new coach. Someone who can do better, like be in the Frozen Four each year. After all, those other ECAC coaches have done it.:-D
Have we really been to the championship game 10 times in 16 (?) years? That's just absolutely amazing.

Schafer's stats are inflated. He's a system coach.

So is Roy Williams (think the secondary break) but if he were to come want to coach at Cornell I'd take him in a second.

I dunno, I don't think he has the proper training and experience to coach our hockey team.
