OK, I've got a conundrum. I want to see the game today. However we're down to one car as our Subaru has turbo problems. I've got a Toyota Supra in storage, and just found out that I can get it out today, but not till 3PM.
So, do I drive right home and only miss a couple of minutes of the TV game, or do I chance driving it to Cornell and probably not get there till during the second period? Of course, if I drive, there's a chance of a breakdown since I've just gotten the car on the road and the game's not on radio.
Rent a car, it is cheap on Sat.
Take one of those new high speed trains.

Might be some money for that in NY State for high speed rails since Florida's Governor doesn't want it (http://www.news-press.com/article/20110305/NEWS0107/103050379/High-speed-rail-billions-head-elsewhere?odyssey=tab%7Ctopnews%7Ctext%7CHome) and the FL courts said that he doesn't have to take the money.
My daughter's last bb game of the season (in Homer) won out in my household. I did catch Thursdays game. I think that should count for something ;)
So, my insurance company made my decision. They can't turn on the collision until tomorrow, so I brought the car to my garage and turned on the TV.

Cornell hockey at this high level is awesome. But nothing beats your own kids playing at any level. Thank you, 12 noon start for Cornell lax. That let us see Cornell almost beat Army then scoot back to NJ to see our local HS team (Westfield, in very Yale-like colors) play at 4:15 and win its first ever state quarterfinal hockey tournament 2-0 despite being outshot a very Cornell-like 25-15 and riding a hot goalie. Team played without its head coach, who stepped aside on account of a very minor drug bust (a couple joints in his car). He's a much beloved fourth grade teacher in the local school system. I'm not sure if the charge was personal possession or "didn't bring enough for the class."
I got back in time to see the last 7 minutes! Doubleheader for me!
