Title: Playoff tickets
Post by: kingpin248 on February 19, 2003, 12:41:57 PM
CU has released information on ticket sales for the ECAC quarterfinal series to be played March 14, 15, and 16 (if necessary):

Is anyone at all concerned about the fact that the last time Cornell lost a home game was when school wasn't in session.  This will be the case again as spring break begins that weekend.  I'm sure the faithful will still be there but there has to be something said for quantitiy of students over quality.

We beat BU twice at Lynah during the Thanksgiving break.  The Faithful will manage.

The goods news is that season ticket holders don't automatically get the tickets.  If students are going away for spring break then they won't buy their allotted ticket and some one else can.  Over Thanksgiving break some massive ticket exchanging took place and there didn't seem to be a problem with the crowd then.

I dont post very often, but i do read this board pretty often...I went to go get my playoff tickets today, and asked the guy at the office whether they have had a big response from the students or not. He said that VERY few students have bought playoff tickets.

Although this could be because of spring break, I believe that it is also because of low publicity. There are many people that I told today that I went to get tickets, and they had absolutely no idea that tickets were even on sale. If we are to have a full house at lynah on that weekend, people need to get the word out....

Maybe so, but I've told all the people in my group of somewhere near 10 people, and I think about 3 are actually going to be there... frickin' face timers. The good news if I may be able to get some of you season ticket coupons next week if you want, or there'll definitely be tickets available otherwise.

And the good news for me is maybe I can get in B ;-).

Getting vouchers for us seems to be nicer idea than trying to call the ticket office on March 10th.  That article says they will process those actually at the window first.

There is someone on the Ticket Exchange forum that is selling two vouchers for $45 each.

He should clarify that.  The way it's worded sounds like he's selling the vouchers.
