Not sure the thread title is really appropriate. Ned's teams only lost once to Armstrong's DU squad, albeit in the '69 NCAA final. Ned credited Armstrong with recommending the Ferguson brothers to Cornell, as Armstrong apparently thought he couldn't use them. I guess Armstrong was at least trying to keep them out of the WCHA.
