Nice 1st period by Cornell. Two shaky looking penalty kills, but we dominated the rest of the period.

Whoops missed the period... Thanks.
Good second period by the Red. Sort a weak goal by Garmin on a wrister from the top of the circle that he had a clear view of. Quick response on by Jillson though for the third goal after a steal in Q's zone.
Had a fun night. Our performance wasn't completely consistent, but most of it was good and we looked like a contender for the ECAC championship again.
In other news, sections A and B sucked at doing coordinated chants besides the obvious ones. The student fans need more practice, especially since there's a lot of freshmen this year.
Let's hope this momentum carries on to tomorrow's game. LGR!

I could be wrong, but I thought the shot was taken through our defender's five-hole, which would mean Garman certainly did not have a "completely clear" look at the shot. And if it wasn't actually shot through his legs, the defender was still at least partially screening Garman, so I think it is safe to say that Garman did not have a great look at the shot.

After watching the replay, I'd say your right. It was shot through the defenders legs so it was a much better goal than I thought when I was watching it live.

Not unless we get to play against a sieve like that one. We had long stretches where we were outplayed. It still looks like we are a team looking to find it's role. Are we a fast skating, free-flowing offense or a hard hitting aggressive defense? All too often we are somewhere in between and then we give up easy chances. Do that against a good offensive team and we get burned. Face a good goalie, and we can't score. We still have time to get to get a good balance, but playing like we are, we'll lose more often than we'll win.

speaking of, it might be too early to say, but is the new general admission seating affecting attendance at all?
