You mean I'm not the only Cornell fan trying to pull in the internet feed of a Southern Idaho radio station to listen to the last period of the CC-SCSU game? ;-)

New Hampshire also tied Northeastern 1-1 tonight. I figured they were a team poised to make a move in the polls. Any word on NDU/Denver?

CC got four goals in a six minute span early in the third to turn around a goal deficit. That's why they're ranked #1 I guess.

Interesting observation about the top of the current PWR:

Rk Team                GP  W- L- T  Win%  Rk     RPI  Rk  PWR
 1 Colorado College    32 23- 4- 5 0.7969  2 | 0.6071  1 | 27
 2 Maine               32 22- 5- 5 0.7656  3 | 0.6008  2 | 26
 3 Cornell             25 20- 4- 1 0.8200  1 | 0.5985  3 | 25
 4 New Hampshire       30 19- 7- 4 0.7000  8 | 0.5853  6 | 23
 5 Boston College      30 19- 8- 3 0.6833  9 | 0.5904  5 | 21
 6 Minnesota           31 17- 7- 7 0.6613 10 | 0.5916  4 | 20
   Boston University   32 20-10- 2 0.6562 12 | 0.5841  8 | 20
   North Dakota        32 22- 6- 4 0.7500  4 | 0.5789  9 | 20
 9 St. Cloud State     28 14-11- 3 0.5536 24 | 0.5843  7 | 19
   Ferris State        31 22- 8- 1 0.7258  5 | 0.5702 10 | 19
   Ohio State          31 21- 7- 3 0.7258  5 | 0.5642 11 | 19

We're still at the same rank (3rd) with the same number of comparisions won (25), but now after UNH in 4th with 23, the next closest teams are all the way down at 21, meaning there's significant room between us and places lower in the poll.  that's always a good thing.

Somewhat meaningless, but I'll go ahead anyway...

After tonight's results, Cornell has clinched a 2nd place tie for the Ivy League with Brown.  If Dartmouth wins their remaining Ivy League games Brown and Harvard, and Cornell loses against Yale and Princeton, then Dartmouth will take the Ivy League Title by 1 point.

So, if we can manage at least a tie against either Yale or Princeton, then we'll at least tie for 1st in the Ivy.  Yay! :-D

UND coming back to earth now that they're in the meat of their schedule.  4-5-3 in their last dozen.  1-4-3 against Colorado, Denver, and Minnesota.

Strange schedule.  At one point they had six straight league games at home.  As a result, they're finishing with 12 of 16 on the road.  Their season has flowed and ebbed accordingly.
