Post by: upprdeck on October 23, 2010, 06:57:49 PM
Has anyone else noticed they got rid of the hockey only subscription? trying to force an all event package i guess.

Just noticed it on the login tonight.  It's $69 for the full year -- that's pretty cheap.

its only cheap if you use it watch dozens of events. if you watch a few hockey games thats pretty bad.

syracuse is $10 a month, I get bball, lax, fball plus special events and interviews. and I can turn it on/off as needed.

they also should factor in for those that have season tickets, I get charged for most games I am already there. I dont mind giving the school some money. but for this cost I could go get movie tickets. at least fix the version of flash so it runs on more platforms.

On the Athletics website (http://cornellbigred.com/sports/2007/7/31/Redcasts.aspx?tab=cornellredcast) (not the Redcast frame) they list the single-sport season subscription as an option.  So, it's possible that the lack of a single sport season pass option on Redcast is a mistake.  Either way, I think there is a legitimate reason to demand that package.  Try giving the ticket office a call or email about the matter.

Also be aware that RedCast subscriptions purchased <1 calendar year ago are still theoretically active. My men's ice hockey season pass shows as active, expiring in November.  Remains to be seen if that will allow for watching this weekend's games.

I just went to renew mine (purchased last year 10/24 so it had expired) and the website states that they are good for one year after purchase so any ordered after 10/29 last year should still work.  Also, the hockey only option is up :)  LGR!
