The real question is who has a ticket I can buy from them?  With the job I just got, I my vacation days will kick in about 3 weeks before the FF, just perfect timiing.

The Minnesota Twins will be playing at home (vs. Oakland) during the FF (http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20100914&content_id=14657548&vkey=news_min&fext=.jsp&c_id=min). Those of us who need to add Target Field (http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/min/ballpark/index.jsp) to the list of baseball stadiums visited will be able to do so. ::banana::

Good thing I still have my winter parka, I'm sure I will need that and many layers underneath it :).

April 8 daily average: 33 low, 54 high, mean 44.  Game is at 3:10 local time so it might make it into the 40's towards the later innings.

Record low for April: 2.  Good luck with THAT!  :)

Forget about cold beers, I'm going to need hot chocolate spiked with something like peppermint schnapps! I didn't throw away my "Ithaca/Indiana" winter clothes when I moved to Florida, so I can dress appropiately. **]

You never know. This year's Twins home opener on April 12 was a 67 degree day. A couple of days later: 75.

No skills competition this year.  It's being replaced with an open skate session on Friday night at the Xcel Center after the Hobey Baker Award ceremony.

"Plans are for the open skate to include some notable hockey figures, although no names have been released yet."
