Great NYTimes article about a Yale women's ice hockey player who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.

Thanks for posting this. One of the easiest and most important acts we can take to help anyone with this and related diseases is to join the National Bone Marrow Registry. Joining is a very simple process, and you can save a life. Don't think you can't make a difference. Please check out the procedure at the following URL:

But everyone should understand that the accused "charity" does not have anything to do with the National Bone Marrow Registry and it's still a wonderful thing to join and be a potential bone marrow donor.

The fundraiser's daughter, Natasha (Cornell '05), was a wonderful human being. She is missed.

Apparently the cancer now is very aggressive..........this doesn't sound good.  Say a prayer for Mandi if you do that sort of thing.
