Pannell assists on three quick goals to open the game but Stony Brook comes back with four to lead 4-3 after one.
Hurley from Pannell on an EMO ties it at 4; Stony Brook winning face-offs and ground balls
It's easy to see how this game is getting lost in the shuffle. Hopefully, the lax team can keep its momentum going from the big win over Yale.
SB scores from up top, 5-4 SB; two failed EMOs for Cornell and several other missed chances
Lang ties it with 5 seconds in the half; fifth assist for Pannell
5-5 at the half, as Lang ties it with 5 seconds left off of a Pannell assist
Also, Hobart is leading Syracuse 5-2 in the 2nd Q

Cornell hurting for possession time since taking a 3-0 lead.

I did, Bill. No SB audio. Listening to Barry. At times Cornell looks great. Like the Army game, having trouble holding onto a big lead. Fiore has few saves, but SB has some terrific shooters. D in general is great. O needs to be more patient. Pannell and Hurley excellent. Mock could be the third guy from now on.
12-9 final, CU
Listening to Barry get excited by the Cornell runs, it felt more like a 14-9 game.
Howie Borkin in post-game discussion says Cornell now (esp. with spring break) getting the time to make changes needed to keep moving forward. Also notes that Fiore's 7 saves, 9 GA allowed is really 0 saves, 4 GA, then 7 saves, 5 GA. Either he's a great BS artist or he really knows what he's talking about. I'm voting for the latter.
Syracuse comes back from 6-4 deficit end of third, ties at 8 to force OT, wins 9-8 3:17 into OT.

I caught the end of this game. Hobart's coach with an incredibly boneheaded move. Hobart wins the faceoff to open overtime, and gets an unsettled situation. Just as his team looks like they might get an excellent chance for a quality shot, the coach calls a TO! Hobart never got off a shot in the OT.
Brrrr! Just got in from the game. So nice to see Cornell so close to home. Team looked good, especially in such crappy conditions.
