You think he's got what it takes to get another green jacket?

Nah, he's probably forgotten how to play golf.

I am hoping that he makes adultery as popular as he made golf - then I wouldn't have to wait as long to play a round of golf if everyone is with their mistress.

The man's got a record to beat at the Masters and needs to win his sponsors back so it's not very surprising to see this. Tough to say how competitive he'll be since he hasn't played in a while.  My gut feeling is he'll either be amazing and in top 3 or rusty and in the bottom half of the field.

Golf is the only sport that you can stop playing competitively for 6 months, only to enter the biggest tournament in the world and be considered one of the favorites.  No wonder I can't stand this sport.

You mean like Favre does with fball or Clemens did with baseball or Jordan did with fball or Lemiux did with Hockey?

the best ones can walk away and get back up to speed because they are the best.. the rest of us not so much.

for me Golf is wierd my best rounds are almost always my first and last of the year and in between the constant struggle to shoot par.

Not that I care? Sure he was great at golf, but everyone knew about his demeanor and just kept quiet about it. Unfortunately he was a jerk before and it'll take a lot before I care.

Tiger is a first class scumbag.  Unlike Kobe Bryant, who was somewhat likable, Tiger is just an arrogant, philandering prick who led a fake life and ruined his family's lives because of it.  The press conference he held was one of the most staged confessions I've ever witnessed.

We might agree on more than one thing.  The more I look at this Temple-Cornell matchup, the more I like Cornell to pull the upset.

Well, maybe not.  From ESPN:

Entertaining article - http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/commentary/news/story?id=4999795

15. Team that will go quietly and early, thereby making the trendy wink-wink know-it-all experts look bad: Cornell, whose "big wins" were against Princeton, Harvard and Vermont.

16. Say this about Cornell: Never before has a team gotten such mileage out of a close loss as the Big Red got out of almost not losing to Kansas.

I was hoping this was the one place in the world I could go and not hear about Tiger Woods.

Woah, when did Kobe Bryant become "somewhat likable"? That's some of the highest praise I've heard for the man! :-D

President Obama has Cornell as one of his upset picks in the first round.

QuoteHe. . .noted that Cornell "gave Kansas a run for its money."
