*Unanimous selection
Somebody DIDN'T pick Backman as one of the top 4 forwards in the Ivy League? That person needs to lay off the ::drunk::.
4 British Columbia players on all Ivy-Ivy
3 Alberta
2 CT
2 NJ
2 Quebec
Only 1 each from Ontario and Massachusetts.
Why are there four first and third team forwards? Were there ties involved in the voting?
A couple of thoughts...
Nice to see someone (I'm looking at you, ECAC all-conference voters) recognize Gallagher for the fine season he's had (tied for the most goals in Ivy play, tied for second most points).
The other Ivy coaches and fans will be glad to be rid of our senior class.
Do they have to include a goalie on the "honorable mention" list? Beyond Scrivens and Kalemba, I have a hard time thinking anyone was worthy of inclusion. (Richter was good but played only four Ivy games.)
You could make an argument that Greening should've won the POTY award - we all know that Backman is scary and talented, but Greening is a beast in his own right and had the most points in Ivy games.

Actually I think Scrivens is CU's, Ivy's and ECAC's POTY. He's the ECAC leader in GA and save pct., while being second in number of saves. To my view, when compared to his competitors, no one else stands out as much.

I certainly wouldn't argue if Scrivens were to win the ECAC's POTY award. His GAA is a third of a goal better than anyone else, his SV% is 93.3% with nobody else above 92%, and he's played the most minutes. I don't think there are any forwards or defensemen who stand out so strongly, and the ECAC award voters certainly haven't been shy about giving the POTY to goalies.
