When was the last time Cornell shut out Harvard at Harvard?

Actually, looks like the last Cornell goalie to shut out Harvard at Harvard was....Dryden. In 1967.

Just a solid overall game.  All four lines played strong, and the defense was rock-solid.  Despite the shot disparity in the 3rd, Scrivens wasn't seriously tested.  I think the team is really beginning to gel, and the remainder of the season should be a lot of fun to watch.

D'Agostino had one of the best assists of all time.  Reminded me a lot of the Riley Nash assist to Barlow in last year's NCAA tournament.   (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsBkQUEcudw)

Wow - we've played Harvard 470 times in playoff, non-conference, and exhibition games?  How did I miss those???  :-D

At least like 450 of those were ECAC finals early last decade.  Or at least it feels like that.

I got to my first game in person this year and it was a solid win over Sucks. I try to go to the Sucks game every year. The team came out strong in the first period and had a number of quality chances but could not finish. The power play is the same one that I have seen for the last 5 or 6 years. Move the puck around the perimeter a little bit, take a slap shot from the point and watch it bounce off someone.

My favorite moment is always the Alma Maters. Sucks and both their fans read the theirs from the Jumbotron and then 1000 Cornellians stand and sing.

Looks like it will be a race to the end with Yale. Good luck in Hanover

Lets Go Red!

Their band has moved playing "Fair Harvard" to the 2nd intermission. In past years, they would only play it to close down the empty building at the end of the game.  They still did that last night, but playing it for the 2nd intermission was new (or at least the first time I noticed it).

They have done this for the last few years and it is pathetic every time. I almost feel sorry form them. Almost.

Solid game by Cornell. Aided and abetted by a Harvard team that seemed not to be playing up to even their mediocre 2009-2010 capabilities. Harvard did press the attack initially.
