Assume the numbers listed below are my options (jerseys sold with numbers only, not name plates). I've listed the current Cornell player wearing that jersey. Which one would you pick?
2 - Mike Devin
4 - Keir Ross
7 - Braden Birch
8 - Locke Jillson
12 - Sean Collins
17 - Jordan Kary
19 - Sean Whitney
28 - Joe Scali
29 - Dan Nicholls
35 - Michael Garman
Any of these numbers belong to any legendary Cornell players? Let me know which one you would buy and why.
I'd probably go for #7. Braden Birch is a relative newcomer. But, that number has been worn by such Cornell greats as Doug Ferguson, Brock Treadway, and Kevin Pettit.
(Pettit's name may not appear much in the record books. But, for anyone who watched him play, he was a rough, tough player who, above all else, was a winner!!)
4 was O'Byrne, and he's making a name for himself on the Habs.

What year are you?
I ask because when I bought my jersey, I made sure to pick a 2010 graduate, like me. Now that I remember, for me it was between #27 (Gallagher) and #24 (BNash). #15 (Greening) was already taken. I went with the red #27.

I ended up with a #7 Danveport red jersey (his name is on it). His birthday was one day before mine so it's cool...
#2 for Dan Ratushny, among others.
Personally, I would get Garman's jersey if it wasn't too big, or if you think it fits you. He's the first one to wear 35 and it something that's pretty special IMO.
Other than that, just pick your favorite number or player. Good players are bound to wear that number/wore it before, so it doesn't really matter. If I were you I would get Scali or someone with a smaller jersey (not sure if his is small or just the same as everyone else). Mine are huuuge and something I look tiny under them although I'm just a regular sized guy.
