When's the last time Cornell was favored by this much versus anybody? Sheesh!
Yeah I dont think Cornell will cover that margin, they can but hopefully if we are up by 20 with a few minutes left we will just empty the bench to prepare for Harvard tomorrow. Hopefully Columbia gives Harvard hell tonight
Harvard should be tired for the game tomorrow night. 7pm game in NYC, probably a 5 hour bus drive to Ithaca gets them there 2-3am. Another reason why Cornell has the best home field/court/ice advantages in the Ivy.
Yeah I guess that is one advantage of being in the middle of nowhere
This is somewhat off topic, but does anyone know any fellow Cornellians living in New Mexico? I'm living in Santa Fe, moved here in 2008 for a job after I got laid off by UBS. Would love an opportunity to meet up with other Cornellians here.
Have you seen any New Mexico basketball games? that is a solid mid-major team down there this year.

Somewhat off-topic? That's completely off-topic.
There's an alumni directory online, and I think it can be sorted geographically. You have to login using your alumni ID. Look on the right-hand side of this page: http://www.alumni.cornell.edu/

Probably vs. Clarkson on Jan. 11. Final score was 82-37.

I've been to a couple games, including the game against BYU on Wednesday. My ears are still ringing from the noise in The Pit. I've never heard a place that loud (except maybe Lynah when Topher scored the overtime goal vs Clarkson in the 04-05 ECAC playoffs!), definitely one of the best venues in all of college basketball if you ever have a chance to visit Albuquerque. I think UNM vs Cornell would be a great matchup in the NCAA tourney, both teams love shooting 3s.

That's true, but Clarkson's not a D1 opponent.

Hey, careful, some of us like middle of nowhere.::banana::
Speaking of events that havent happened in awhile, when was the last time there were 3 posts on this forum in the Tickets Exchange part about selling/buying tickets for a Cornell basketball game.

I was just thinking the same thing.
Even more surprising to me: I was on Columbia's website earlier today while considering going to their game v. Harvard tonight, and found out that they were sold out tonight also. (And apparently were sold out for the Cornell game).

But there's never really been a need for it, as BB games rarely sell out this far in advance.

That was kinda his point, no? ;)
71-37 final; beat the spread.
Well the title fight is tomorrow. Harvard SUCKS!
Two articles on CU BB in Post-Standard. First on Dale. (http://blog.syracuse.com/sports/2010/01/bowlegged_but_unbowed_cornell.html)Second on CU-Harvard. (http://www.syracuse.com/poliquin/index.ssf/2010/01/sure_su-depaul_is_a_big_one_tr.html)

Still, because Clarkson isn't a D-I basketball team it is unlikely that there was a line on this game at all.
I'm surprised that the only expressed expectation was that we wouldn't cover. We beat Columbia by 20+ in both games and Columbia is almost certainly a better team than Dartmouth.
Opening line on Harvard @ Cornell game tonight is Cornell 8pt favorite
