This will be Cornell's first "big ice" game of the season.  It should be interesting.
Title: Rochester, NY -- The Distillery (on Mt Hope)

It looks like the Rochester viewing location will be the Distillery.  (The one on Mt. Hope, not the ones in Brighton or Greece.)

1142 Mt. Hope Avenue
Rochester, NY 14620

First and only.  All remaining RS games are at ECAC rinks (all standard ice), Albany is standard ice, and all this year's NCAA sites are standard ice.

If anyone's in Central Florida, we'll be watching the game at Legends Sports Bar on Orange Ave, across the street from ORMC.

Fukkit. If they can rearrange the seating at Ford Field, let's just petition the NCAA to reconfigure the ice as well.  Full football field dimensions.  300'x160'  Want your FF on a football field??  Here's your football field.

I'm trying to call Penn Tavern in DC, but there's no answer. Probably closed for Jan 1. Will try tomorrow.

I called Penn Tavern. We should be good to go if we can get 10-15 people to show up. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors. LGR!

The attendee list is not really representative, though, since there are 10+ more people who RSVPed through other channels.
Title: TV Timeouts on ESPNU?
Post by: jtwcornell91 on January 02, 2010, 05:42:48 PM
So I'm watching the BU-UMass game on ESPNU, and I'm not noticing any TV timeouts during the periods.  Promising development, but something people planning to watch might want to know about.

I was at the BU game at Agganis and you are correct, there were not any TV time outs during the game which was nice to keep the flow going, even if there were quite a few penalties.

With all the wind advisories and winter weather advisories from Ithaca to Albany to Springfield to Durham, we're not driving out. Is there already a viewing plan for Ithaca? If not, I'll volunteer my TV.
