Title: Frozen Four Seats
Post by: Beeeej on December 12, 2009, 12:24:25 PM
This year, probably because of the Ford Field rejiggering, the Frozen Four folks have actually told us where our seats are going to be pretty far in advance.  I'm in Section 138, row 22.  Anybody else get their seat assignments yet?

Yeah, 245, but I can't answer your poll as I'm in-between "For sure" and the  "Only if's". For sure if Cornell goes, I've already gotten a hotel reservation, but also would if Michigan goes or my daughter's school calender allows her to go.

All those choices seem like "only ifs" to me.

Section 131, Row 19.

Yeah, I gotta say 138 is probably about as great a seat assignment as I could expect for this pending outdoor travesty.  :-)  I'm sure the "RS" sections are reserved for VIPs and such, though it's also possible the student sections are in there.  Goodness knows if Cornell makes it, I'd be buying more seats through them anyway.

I'm probably in the "Only if" category.  It's going to be a busy spring as it is.

Can you imagine sitting in section 315 though? Ugh.

This fad needs to die, quickly.

Yes, before someone gets the terrible idea to use this gimmick for a playoff game....OH WAIT.

You're correct, but how do I pick one only if. If Michigan can't go but my daughter can, what then? The point was, I can't pick only one only if.

I'm down as "For sure, no matter what".

As much as I dislike the venue, I'll go because I don't want to stop an annual tradition.    And, I have family in the area that I rarely see.   That's enough of a bonus to hold my nose while going to the game anyway.

Our seats are in Sec. 242.    Not tooooo bad.

My Dad just called informing me I had an envelope from the NC$$. I had him open it to reveal my seats:
Section 233, Row 1.

I then spent the next 5 minutes trying to explain why the game was being held there and agreeing with him on how STUPID it is to have a hockey game in a football stadium. Anyways, I am "definitely going no matter what". Hope I can tickets for the Detroit Tigers game (Friday 4/9 is their home opener).

That's not  worry.  When they realized there wasn't a demand for 70,000 seats, more than half got eliminated by moving the rink to the endzone.

If I value my life, I won't go this year.  My wife and I have a baby due in March, so that wouldn't go over very well.

I got seats in RS1, row 6. I am a regular buyer (not VIP), but have a pretty high priority # -- 11, I think.

I am expecting a baby on April 15, so not going (if only it were in DC this year instead of last, then I'd be there). But my tickets are already spoken for.

I got my tickets for the Frozen Four today ::banana::!

The Marriott Renaissance Hotel is the spot for the Fan Fest, and the dumbest giveway ever idea (IMHO) is Bauer's paper helmet.
