YES. Follow the ECAC link in one of Jim Hyla's TV posts. All access from Onion.
Ugh, I don't think there is a way to get TW Cap or TWCNY here in New York City.
Methinks Cornell had better turn things up here.
Possible goal by Union, under video review.
no goal
looked like the net was knocked off the moorings before the puck went in.
Shake-up in Cornell's lines, probably in an attempt to get more scoring punch. Benching D'Agostino isn't gonna help that quest.
gah! get a puck on the net PP crew!
Krueger retaliated, according to the Ithaca Journal blogger.::bang::
Pretty intense first period. Union came out skating very fast and putting on a lot of hits. Cornell was back on its heels for the first 10 minutes. They seemed to get things together after the first 10 minutes and started to return some of the heavy checks.
who did they interview during the first period
Quote from: mhand06who did they interview during the first period
Riley Nash
World's fastest cowbell.
I didn't see who scored the goal.
edit: Jason Walters (6) (Mario Valery-Trabucco, Adam Presizniuk)
Brendan Birch tipped it in. It's pretty clear on the video replay.
Huge save by Scrivens on a Union breakaway.
For what it's worth, the Journal blogger said "banged off Krueger's skate on the weak post and in."
5x3 Cornell PP for 1:23
There is absolutely no way that the best PP in the nation will fail to score on a 1:30 5x3.
Cornell has a 1:23 5 x 3. Unimpressive so far.

But who's Brendan Birch? ;)

SEE?!?!?!? B NASH!!!
Goal on 5 x 3.
edit: Brendon Nash (2) (Riley Nash)
Brendan Nash scores from the point on the 5x3. Now 5x4 for 30 secs
B. Nash from the top of the circles - Cornell needs to work on getting the puck down low during 5 x 3.
Riley Nash hits crossbar. 5x4 killed
didn't take long for U to answer
3 on 2. Very nice shot.
Touche. Braden Birch.
Birch backed his big butt right into Scrivens' face.
Penalty on Krueger. Cornell D is allowing a ton of odd-man rushes.
Union PP. Almost a penalty shot.
Union breakaway, Krueger makes the tackle and takes the penalty. He did what he had to do.
What is the score?
2 to 1 Union. Cornell needs to step it up if they want to win this.
Quote from: goredWhat is the score?
2-1 union
Thanks! Go Red!
Nothing like taking penalties while trying to come from behind.
Cornell kills off 3 minor penalties in a row.
how much time left?
B. Nash looking very shaky. turnover and missed on a one timer
and as i say that - he almost scores
LGR!
GOAL RILEY NASH!!!
R. Nash from Kennedy, very nice play
Time left?
pretty tip in on a great feed from kennedy on the rush.
The refs have swallowed their whistles.
About four minutes to go

Going into overtime. The game is still fast and physical. Some penalties could have been called (both sides) over the last 5 mins, but were not.
Why is Shafer wearing a cast on his right wrist?
3 of 4 on a weekend that, as JTW mentioned, has always been a "trap" weekend for us is pretty good.
Scrivens made a huge save at the end.
3 point weekend on the road. Union is a pretty good team. Still, I was hoping for more from Cornell. Looking forward to CC after the break.
Good to get the tie after being behind. Union is still unbeaten on league play.

Dan Sweeney reports that Shafer said he "jammed it trying to go through a locked door at MSG last weekend."

One of the commentators--I think it was Fridgen, the former RPI coach--was chuckling about it earlier in the broadcast, and making it sound like it was something Schafer did in a moment of anger/frustration. It is his right hand, and we've probably all seen him pound the glass with that hand in frustrating moments in the past. The tieing goal that BU scored was pretty frustrating. You can reach your own conclusions. (Or PM Ari for...ahhh, never mind.)

FYP
On the TW broadcast they said something like "Schafer said it wasn't his finest moment." Then they said "I'm not going to comment on that." ???
You beat me to it, but I fixed the post.:-D
as the story goes, somethings are movable some and some things are not..
