Interesting that Nicholls and Scali are on different lines, per the Live Stats report.
Hahvahd's Coach Donato said in the pregame interview "this is probably the best Cornell team I've seen in fouah-five yeeahz".
Heading the zebras tonight are John Murphy and Robert St. Lawrence.

any idea why ryan carroll is in net for harvard and not richter?
Redcast sound screwed for everyone?
yup
probably because Richter got lit up last night and Carroll played very well against us at Harvard last year.
i can haz fish?!
Aaaand the Crimson skates to the farside glass as usual to evade the fish.
Why do they always have sound glitches?
Can anyone contact anyone in the press box to get this damn audio fixed??? Edit--it seems ok now. But what happened to Jason's voice?!
Jason seems to be battling some laryngeal issues.

Gutty performance by Jason to call the game.

He sounds like the zit-faced kid in The Simpsons.
Esposito's got some moves.
what a dangle by esposito. damn
Leblanc slips one through the five-hole. 1-0 Sucks.
and leblanc scores for harvard
It sounds like a Harvard fan got kicked out of section O--the whole crowd got into the seeya cheer.
not a bad effort other than the goal.. lots of decent chances..
we dominated the first half, harvard had the better chances late and they capitalized. harvard's up on the road - we have them right where we want them.
according to the live blog, chris huxley also got an assist on the harvard goal

I missed the goal. Was it a softy? Did Scrivens do well to try to make the save?
Kennedy puts home a rebound!
1-1
huge goal by the good kennedy 1-1!
annd...so much for the momentum. Morrison sent in alone on Scrivens and beats him. 2-1.
Quote from: I missed the goal. Was it a softy? Did Scrivens do well to try to make the save?
leblanc beat scrivens on a shot from the slot. redcast video sucks so you can't exactly what happened.
And now Rogers, who's been a thorn in our side for a few years now. 3-1 Sucks.
Man. We gotta pull a Colgate in the third period now.
Quote from: OatMan. We gotta pull a Colgate in the third period now.
I'd prefer we not wait until then.
Finally, we get a PP chance. (about 3:50 left)
DEVIN! Possibly tipped, but a huge goal to make it 3-2
Our PP unit is among the top in the nation!
And Brendon Nash takes a penalty after the buzzer. Not a huge surprise.

Talk about stupid. Please, talk about it.
Down by a goal is a lot better than down by 2. Harvard is doing a good job capitalizing on unsettled situations and catching Cornell out of position. Come from behind wins are so sweet. I'd rather be watching Harvard try to come back. Harvard's getting a lot of output from its freshmen.
Attn pep band: Please don't play Pinball Wizard at that speed ever again.
Tie Game!
tie game! and jason goes through puberty!
Greening credited with the 3rd goal.
And we respond by taking another penalty...real smart.
WOOT! LGR!
4-3! J Devin!
Joe Devin!
Awesome heads-up play by our top line. Joe Devin's got a nose for the net.
Harvard having a bit of deja vu from last night?
GALLAGHER!!
GOAL!!!
Gallagher!!!!
The powerplay is deadly this year!
Gallagher, 5-3!!
If that means we get 4 unanswered goals in the 3rd period, then by all means, let it be deja vu all over again!
2 goals in the 5 minutes since I started watching. Sweet!
I'm afraid we'll require you to watch all of every game from here on out Jordan.
Colin Greening is pretty good.
Sweet pass! 6-3!
Greg Miller!
Miller's first collegiate goal!
Great feed from Devin behind the net!
6-3
Harvard going on PP.
Donato pulls the sieve with 6 mins left. We want 7!
Coming into the game, Cornell has the #2 OFFENSE in the country (according to USCHO statistics)
Harvard pulling Carrol with some 5:45 left in the game, and Cornell takes a time out.
Sieve going back in, 4x4 for :25 and then Cornell on PP
And Harvard negates the powerplay by taking a penalty of their own. Carroll back in net.
absolute domination in the third. great game.
2:10 left
Final!
This is a good Cornell team. Do you know what I am saying?

I know what you're saying. Much superior to even last year.

Da.
Greening was great, but I personally think Gallagher is the first star of this game.
The title post indicates that we scored the 3rd goal 4 times.
Great third period. Tons of energy xombined with physical play. Really punished them.
More or less impressive than Colgate's comeback? Either way a thoroughly demoralizing weekend for Harvard, and I feel not a touch of sympathy.
Gate's comeback would probably be more impressive rallying from a 4-1 deficit to win.
Does 'Gate still do three dog night?
Quote from: sah67annd...so much for the momentum. Morrison sent in alone on Scrivens and beats him. 2-1.
That goal was set up when a Cornell dump-in hit the linesman (Baron) and came back out. The crowd was on Baron the rest of the game.
Quote from: MattShafDoes 'Gate still do three dog night?
Depends on the puck bunnies.
I keeed, I keeed...
