Where is Cornell likely to play in DIVISION I ICE HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIP
the East Or Northeast Section?
IF we make it (don't count your chickens before they hatch), nobody knows.
[q]IF we make it (don't count your chickens before they hatch)[/q]
I figured someone, and probably others, would post something of this nature.
Now...I fully understand the whole jinx/woofing/hockey gods/supersticious thing that people believe in (as do I at times).
In this case, however, I think its an insult to the team to go out of one's way to say "if" we make the NCAA tournament.
Forgive them, Woofing Gods, they know not what they do.
[q]The harder our opponents play us, the better a test for the NCAA, and the more piss and vinegar the team will have going into the post-season. Maybe this will turn out to be one of those "losses with a silver lining."[/q]
That's IF this team makes the NCAA, Greg. Something about glass houses...
People don't get my jokes. Maybe it's me.
I guess it is. ;-)
Aside from the "IF" questions, I think it's an unanswerable question. There's no real attendance factor that would push us to one venue or the other. So it all comes down to our final ranking and the way the seeds fall out. Heck, we could easily end up out west too, even if our final ranking is good. So basically you'll have to wait until 3/23 to find out.
So I guess what you guys are telling me is that we could end up in any of the four sections, depending on our final record (IF WE GET IN)
Yes. I'll clarify by saying that IF we have a very high ranking (whatever that means exactly) it's likely that we will stay east. But there's no guarantee unless somehow we managed to move back up to #2 in the rankings.
When the great pumpkin comes.... No, no ... when the great pumpkin comes.
