I apologize in advance, but over on The Cornell Basketball Blog, we've posted about two dozen links to articles in the last week covering Cornell basketball recruit, Errick Peck.
For those who don't know, Peck was voted MVP last night of the Indiana-Kentucky All Star Game.
Playing in a game with Kentucky, Indiana, NC State, Georgetown, and Purdue recruits, it was Peck who outshined them all, finishing with 16 points, 12 boards and 3 blocks.
Peck also led his team in scoring in both of their warm-up exhibition games against the Indiana Junior All Stars.
He is 6'6", about 220 lbs, and can jump out of the building. Good recruit for a program that is not going away.

See, now this is a good post, Cornellfan. No need to apologize for this one. You gave a useful summary of information, and for people who want to read more in-depth articles, they can go to your blog.
This is much better than "I have some hot info on a certain recruit. Visit my blog to find out!" No whoring for hits this time.
Thank you, that's all I'm asking.
I like the story about the All-Star team's meeting the Governor. All the other players wordlessly shook hands, but Peck asked a question about how to get into state government, and handed out business cards. He seems to be the kind of student-athlete I really enjoy having at my alma mater.
Some of The Cornell Basketball Blog's readers did not like his quote from here:
http://cornellbasketball.blogspot.com/2009/03/errick-peck-in-indy-star.html (http://cornellbasketball.blogspot.com/2009/03/errick-peck-in-indy-star.html)
Here is the article where he meets the governor:

Was "right your own ticket" the Indy Star's error? Yeesh.
I definitely dont re-type these articles. That was a direct copy and paste.

Agreed. I even visited your blog to read more to show my appreciation of the upfront and non-hit-whoring post.
