Rob Pannell wins Rookie of the Year. Max Seibald is one of two unanimous First Team selections and becomes the first men's Ivy player ever selected to the First Team four times. Pannell, John Glynn and Matt Moyer join Seibald on the First Team. Ryan Hurley was picked for the Second Team (in my opinion a pretty clear case of award-spreading since he led the league in goals per game and was third in points per game), and Jake Myers receives Honorable Mention.
Brown G Jordan Burke wins Player of the Year, the first player ever to win it in back-to-back years.
Edit to add: The story posted on Laxpower appears to be a reproduction of a Brown Athletics story, so for a more neutral perspective the Ivyleaguesports.com story might be preferable.

Yeah, but Ivyleaguesports.com must have been written by a Johnny. It has Pannell doing two years in one! Cornell is supposed to be the easiest Ivy to get into, the hardest to get out of. But doing your frosh and sophomore years simultaneously is rediculous! ::demented::

Doing your frosh and senior years simultaneously, OTOH, would entail passing out at your job interview.

It could be an NCAA record for most consecutive league championships.

Poor formatting by the Ivy site. Brown held the unshared title in 1994, and Princeton and Brown shared it in 1995. So the P run was from 1995-2004 (10 straight). That ties Cornell's run from 1974-1983 (10). Only the Brown championship in 1973 prevented that run from being 16 straight.

If I am reading the article linked below correctly, Cornell's seven consecutive titles is the longest
active streak in men's lacrosse across all conferences. Not sure if that is what the other press release was referring to.
