I could swear I just saw Kyle Rose in a pan of the crowd at the BU-UNH game.
Reminder that the UNH-BU game is on ESPNU
Maybe you should just title the thread UNH vs. BU since this thread will only be about this game?
Now 1-0 BU for those without ESPNU.

Parallelism.

OCD.
Since we hate both of these of these teams, whom should we root for?

I was struggling with that. If Cornell wins its next two, the UHN jinx says I don't want to meet them in the Finals. However, the more I think about facing BU, I think I'd really rather have BU taken out of the way by the lower seed.
So, I'll tell you whom to room for after Cornell faces Bemidji tonight. ;-)
root for the upset. Would rather get FF revenge on UHN then play BU

If we get FF revenge on UHN, then it's not possible for us to play BU.

Statistically, a team making it to the FF would find UNH a less difficult opponent than BU.
As a practical matter, a bunch of BU students reached for Cornell and didn't make it, so BU fans would feel superior beating Cornell if we got there.
If I knew were going to win it all - hey, you can dream - I'd rather take down BU. Plus we already have a cheer ready. For decades. Then let them try to take the championship belt away from us come Thanksgiving weekend.
First, let's see what happens with Bemidji.

I'm rooting for BU: welcome the chance to beat the #1 team in the country and win the NCAA rubber game (http://www.tbrw.info/games/cornell_Title_Games.html).
1-1 in ManchVegas.

I mistyped. ;-)
The sad part is that, without the boldface, I'd have thought you were picking on me for ending a sentence with a preposition.

Nah, 'cause it wasn't the end of your sentence - hence my period outside the quotation mark. ;-)
Edited..who determines which teams play at what times in DC? Is it based on seedings or tv? Sorry beeeej
What, you want to tempt the wrath of the whatever from high atop the thing?! Please edit your post!!!!!

ok everyone, we are getting a little ahead of ourselves here.
anyone know if there some sort of contingency to show the cornell game in the event that bu-unh goes to ot? maybe put it on ESPNC? i kind of doubt it though because there hasn't been one to this point in the tournament.
actually there was a switch last night when AFA UVM went OT I think - didn't they move one of the other games at that time? I remember a scroll at the bottom of the screen metnioning other game on other channel
Yeah there was a switch of Miami UMD to ESPNC....during the 2nd intermission ESPNC switched to showing the ongoing replay review...but as soon it was determined Vermont won, ESPNC went back to boxing.
Yes, they put Miami/UMD on ESPN Classic until UVM/AFA ended.
At the moment, REDCast is not aware there is a game this evening.
Anyone have a score in the other final?
Anyone have a score in the other final?
1-1, 7 mins gone in the third.
BU scores, 2-1, with 15 seconds to go.
Two "red" teams in DC. Let's make it three.
"BU scores" was too generous. It was an own goal by one of the UHN defenders.
BU over UHN, 2-1, Final.
wow, that's a tough way to lose. Maybe a BU-Cornell game in DC is meant to be!
"BU scores" was too generous. It was an own goal by one of the UHN defenders.
Although in his defense, there was nothing much he could do there. If he lets the puck go by, there's a BU guy on the doorstep for the easy goal. If he covers, of course, it's a penalty shot. He tried to knock it back past the other post and didn't manage it.
