Just curious all. Should I expect a BIG (X2) RED turnout tonite or are a lot of people keeping away cause it is a Thursday? I'm dragging a few non Cornell friends and since I have been hyping the team and the fans up forever I want to know if I should prepare them for disappointment. :-/ ::help::
The Cornell allottment of tickets was sold out as of Monday... and I know a few groups who have called Colgate for tickets since, including my own... so what does that tell ya? :-D
I bought the last ticket from the Cornell ticket office three weeks ago. ;-)
Yay! Thanks Guys! It should be fun - esp with all the band disputes as of late!

It tells me that you should go anyway and buy one of the abundant standing room tickets. :-D

As I tried to say, did that already - I'm actually even probably hoping to pick one more up - a friend IMed me in the early AM hours saying someone else may want to come. I'll call Colgate as soon as he tells me for sure, but does anyone know if they still have more?
Colgate has not sold out a game yet this year. And the way their admission works, student's don't have tickets. They just need to show their ID to get in. So pretty much, you can always get in. Though apparantly, since Colgate hates Cornell so much, or their bandies do anyway, it could be a pretty full house. Who knows. I'm having my friend at 'Gate buy me 3 tickets today just to be safe. See everyone tonight!

I wouldn't worry about it. I've gone there in years when they've actually been GOOD, and not had a problem getting SR tickets at the door.
Cornell will be represented Melissa, don't worry. I'll be there in my Red and White, as well as many other members of the Doug Murray Section B fan club...
Hey Justin ...
You are the crazy cow bell dancer guy, no? If so - you are a riot!
Yes, we are only about one-third sold for regular seating. Students don't show up until the second or third period, so as long as you're there by 7 or so, you won't have a problem.
There is potential for a crowd. We (Colgate students) received a campus-wide email saying to go to the hockey rink early, so that Cornell fans can't take all the seats. I think the athletics department put it out. Just a heads up, if you do want to come.
A campus-wide e-mail? Damn, that's harsh. Now I kinda want to make the trip to Hamilton, just to help piss off some Colgate administrators just a little bit more. :-D
i will be there with two friends also. be wearin the gomez jersey :-)
LGR!
time to leave:-D
Will be there with about 8 friends...we'll be causing havoc in the Colgate student section as soon as they show up in the second period.
Considering that Thursday night is traditionally frat bar night, I highly doubt that too many Colgate students will be showing up. Plus if you get there before 5:45 or so, you don't need a ticket, just walk right in.
Actually, at Colgate thursday isn't a big drinking night. I still don't know how attendance will be. There have been times where we were within 200 of a sellout. You could say that there is unlimited standing room only, but they usually plan for a certain number of students showing up, and don't sell those tickets. If you do get shut out, you'd probally be able to just walk in after the first period. It's late enough for me to tell you this, but the Colgate band will be inhabiting the middle section by 5:30 pm!
isn't every night a big drinking night at colgate? i mean...what else is there to do in hamilton, ny?
nine CUPD officers are in attendance
Melissa,
You are probably thinking about my friend Joe, he is the main dancer. I am the alternate when he is not at games, as was the case in Hamilton on Thursday...
