Post by: Josh 03 on March 19, 2009, 07:32:53 PM
Big Red Friday!

Friday, March 20th, 2009

3:00pm – 10:00pm

The Cornell Men's Basketball team has made the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row.  The Cornell Men's Hockey team skates in the ECAC Championship Tournament this weekend.  Both teams play this Friday and the Cornell Club of Washington will host a gamewatch for both games in Downtown Washington DC.

3:00 – 5:00 Cornell vs. Missouri; NCAA Basketball First Round
7:00 – 10:00 Cornell vs. Princeton; ECAC Hockey Semifinal

Wear your red and arrive early to claim a seat by the TVs.  Over 200 fans attended last attended last year's gamewatch.  Come for a festive atmosphere, Cornell fight songs, and comraderie with hundreds of fellow Cornell fans.  Watch the other ECAC Hockey Semifinal between St. Lawrence and Yale.

The event is free for Cornell Club of Washington members and guests with a $5 charge for non-members.  Sign up at the event for the CCW 2009-2010 membership year with bonus months for the rest of the current membership year.

Couldn't make it Friday or Saturday; any plans for a meet-up for the Northeastern game on Saturday?
