3 08:49 Cor P. Kennedy 4 (Jillson, M. Devin)

4 02:13 Cor pp Gallagher 6 (M. Kennedy)
Early short 5x3 for Cornell -- Riley drawing both calls.
PK hits the post. Now 5x4. Whitney seeing his first pp action of the year. Cornell skating all 7 defensemen tonight (Barlow, Roeszler, Scali, Joe Devin sitting).
Brown powerplay now.
And the Cornell feed goes down.
Free Brown audio here (http://brownbears.cstv.com/multimedia/schedule.html).
Yeah, I just switched over to the Brown clowns. Let me know when WHCU is back up.
I paid $7 and i'm watching it on b2live :)
Jason is back.
The period ends 0-0, and we'll watch Annabelle the Sheep (http://caerfyrddin.org/annabellethesheep.htm) and listen to PSAs. Jason is back up.
Puck drops for the 2nd.
Cornell kills off a Brown pp with the help of a good Scrivens save. 12 minutes remaining in the 2nd, 0-0. Brown averaging 39 SOG against this year.
Brown on pp again, 0-0.
When will Scrivens learn to stay in the net? He's not good at playing the puck.
Brown scores as Scrivens gets caught behind the net. 1-0.
Harvard just went up 2-1 on Princeton...
... and Princeton ties it up 2-2 moments later.
End of 2 at Meehan, 1-0 Brown, shots even at 18.
Early third, Cornell pp ends; 0x3.
Uh oh.
14:48 to go in regulation, 2-0 Brown.
Ouch.
Obviously not pleased, but just think about how Schafer is going to light a fire under their asses during practice the next couple weeks. It will be all about the "you have to earn everything" mentality.
PATRICK KENNEDY! As pp expires.
Harvard goes up on Princeton, 3-2.
Cornell goes on pp, 6:49 to go in third.
At Harvard, 5:19 to go, Crimson 3 Tigers 2.
About time. Greening from P (?) Kennedy
Hearing Whitney's name a lot tonight.

Schafer as alternative energy source in the Finger Lakes. You'd need a heat exchanger.
I love that all you can hear in the background of the audio are Cornell cheers. LGR!!!
Shots through the first 17 minutes of the third, 21-6 Cornell.
Harvard has beaten Princeton. Cornell can finish 2nd with a win (not a tie).
Greening takes a boarding penalty with 29 seconds to go?!
Harvard has beaten Princeton. Cornell can finish 2nd with a win (not a tie).
Hope Schafer knows that - pull the goalie in OT...

Losing probably hurts our PWR a lot more than a tie, which is probably more important than a 2 vs a 3 seed.
doesnt a loss to Brown hurt more than a tie in the PWR right now?

What's better #2 ECAC or at large position for NCAA?
whats with greeining and late in game penalties during close games... wtf?
These refs are not very good, to be fair.
Last time Cornell got an OT (GWG) SHG? It's hard enough to remember Cornell SHGs. Yale had something like 7 SHGs this season.
[moot point - Brown draws its own penalty. Cornell gets about :52 of PP]
Announcers make good point that loss to Brown is the kind of thing that could cost Cornell an NCAA bid if we don't win the ECACs.
These refs are not very good, to be fair.
fair to greening, or fair to the refs?
Brendon Nash draws a penalty.

Iggulden at Union 2004-2005 season?
Not taking in to account any other games tonight, a loss to Brown drops Cornell to 14 in PWR.
Krueger hits the crossbar.
Gallagher!
Gallagher!!!!
Thank God. 2nd place.
2 point weekend! Gallagher PPG completes comeback from 2-0 deficit. Why couldn't we do that in New Haven, too?
GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Not taking in to account any other games tonight, a loss to Brown drops Cornell to 14 in PWR.
Does a win do anything?
now they need to sweep the series in 2 weeks to give them the best chance to get into the ncaa without winning the ecac.
Gallagher's first GWG of the year is a HUGE one.

Keeps us at 11, without taking other games into account. Losses are much more damaging right now.

Yale...Brown...what was the question? :-)
b-ball team lost so next week means something now.
fair to greening, or fair to the refs?
I take that back. The referees tonight were simply incompetent (especially Chip McDonald). They were the worst I've seen in the past few years. They blew incorrect whistles all night. And none of those cowards had the balls to call the boarding penalty in OT when Mugford got cross-checked from behind and flew into the board head-first.
On a good note, our team did play above that and came out with a well-deserved W.

Yeah hopefully there is a good turnout since attendance has not been that great this year
Postgame thread and final standings up (http://elf.elynah.com/read.php?1,140716).
