As far as I can tell it doesn't look like there are any video options for the Yale game. Yale's site has a link for a radio broadcast, but that's it. Am I missing something, or is this one I'll just be listening to?

Yale has free video webcasts through All Access (http://all-access.cbssports.com/player.html?code=yale). If you have a PC, make sure you install Silverlight.
Edit: I see that the hockey game isn't listed on All Access. I'd expect that to change soon.
They had free All-Access for the basketball game last Friday. The feed worked about 40% of the time, and the camera work was juvenile at best. At one point someone knocked into the camera and it swung around to the crowd. Online viewers were watching at a few sporatically populated rows of seats for 5 minutes trying to figure out what was happening on the court off screen from solely fan reactions.

Thanks very much. Will hope for a decent broadcast, but even a lousy one should be better than radio.
The link is up. (http://all-access.cbssports.com/player.html?code=yale) If you click on it now, you might get a bad flashback to Cornell's all-access days: "We're sorry, but this event has not yet begun..."
video is up
Might want to mute it though... oy...

Seriously.
PBP guy is actually pretty good, as far as knowing the game. Color guy is biased and has no clue, but at least some of the time they recognize that there are actually two teams on the ice.

You mean like when he called the band obnoxious? :-|
Might want to mute it though... oy...
Jason is nearly synched up with the Yale video feed -- there's about a second delay. The Yale team was so childish I had to switch.
Did anyone else have their video just go down? I'm getting the dreaded "this event has not yet begun" message again.
EDIT: Nevermind, fixed
Mine did. I closed the window and re-opened it and its working fine now.
It's back.
Edit:: And now we're down again.

Yes, I'm down too.

yeah, I did. I thought it was because I moved to a different room. Seems like "all-access" hasn't changed after these past few years.
anyone else have feed drop???????
Mine is still down.
Down here. Exactly the same as someone above...went down, came back briefly, and now has been down for a several minutes.
mine just back
I've installed silverlight and restarted yet it bumps me to the page that says that I need to install... anyone know why that might be? (I'm on a mac and I got the 1.0 which is what they tell you to do).
Back here now too. Weinstein at least 20-30 seconds ahead of video. Will have to go back to the homers.
I installed Silverlight 2.0 before the game and it's working (well, the app is working; the feed, only sometimes).
I think my favorite part is his pronunciation of Nanaimo: nuh-nuh-ee-mo
If you paid for the Dartmouth video feed a couple of weeks back you can catch the end of the Princeton vs. Dartmouth game now for free. And as I type this, Dartmouth just scored an ENG to make it 2-0.

It seems that home ice is a big edge for some ECAC teams.

Well...I disagree. A crappy video broadcast with stuttering, and constant outages is one of the most frustrating things to have to deal with, especially after you paid for it. A good radio feed still gives you an idea of the game flow, as long as the broadcasters are competent. Then again, I'm still one who loves catching a faint, staticy ballgame on the AM during late night drives, letting the broadcasters ply their trade and paint my own mental pictures.

I can't disagree with that. For last night's broadcast, (and the worst of some I've paid for this year) I had the luxury of being able to turn on the radio during the outage(s), since I live in Ithaca. I can imagine the frustration of not being able to do that.
So no argument from me.
