Title: Cornell propels Clarkson into 1st Place!
Post by: Robb on January 25, 2003, 12:14:13 PM
.... in penalty minutes per game in the NCAA at 21.59.  ::twitch:: Ouch.  Good thing that their PK is ranked 4th at 87.5%, or this could have been an even longer first half season for the Knights.

Now, Clarkson, please go out and get yourself enough wins to get that RPI above .500 (currently at .4897).  We could really use two more TUC wins to help out with our UND and CC pairwise comparisons...   B-]

Or they could just lose to us some more; without last night's game, their RPI would be .4874.  (At least beating Clarkson only cost us .0008 in the RPI.)

Just curious - is that .0008 hit the result of putting Clarkson's record in Op and their opponents' records in OpOp, or was that the sum total of the effect of all of last night's games?

Impossible to say by inspection, although eliminating the Clk@Cor game from the schedule and recalculating would answer it wonderfully... that said, JTW, what happened to your Hypothetical interface? It's not there for '02-'03.

That's just the effect of Clarkson on our SOS overwhelming the improvement in winning percentage.  I ran the numbers with and without that game, everything else the same.
