**Make that 13-0-0**
My Redcast audio was a little spotty during pregame. Here's hoping for no problem during the game. LGR!
My Redcast audio was a little spotty during pregame. Here's hoping for no problem during the game. LGR!
I think it was a WHCU problem, getting levels wrong. Sounds fine, now.
M. Kennedy from a tough angle! That's the way you come back from a bad game.
Kennedy! Beautiful one-timer from near top of near-side circle
A rocket from Kennedy from outside the circle! Came out so quickly, few knew it was in.
Nearly 3 minutes in and Brown finally get the puck into our zone...let's keep the intensity up.

LaJolla: you going to update the title post?
Kreuger is out and Taylor Davenport is in. Haven't heard Taylor on the ice yet though.
EDIT: And as I submit that I hear his name. Glad to see him back quickly.
Garman with a nice glove save...on the bench ;)
Hook on Brown...good effort by Collins to draw the penalty
Powerplay looks excellent and Brown is completely on their heels...we look like a completely different team from last night.

I would hope so.
Let's also not forget that this is also by far the worst team we are playing this year.
Another powerplay coming up...Garbutt goes off for a slash.

Don't tell that to Colgate
Davenport interview coming up
Net 15 goals in the last three periods of RPI hockey (8 for, 7 against).
Cornell women destroyed Brown this afternoon, 6-0 (http://www.ecachockey.com/women/2008-09/boxscores/20090124_ju7v.xml). The Bears suck there, too.
Beating Yale was a reasonable if unmet expectation yesterday. Today, with Brown so bad, a goal a period minimum for Cornell, nothing for Bruno, and at least 1x4 on PP, seems like a goal to shoot for.
Boy, does Brown look weak.
NHL Skills Competition on Versus for those interested
On the video, ice is more washed out than usual. Doesn't seem to be such a dramatic color shift between camera 1 and camera 2 as Friday. Regardless, it's world's better than CSTV's feeble attempts 3-4 years back.
Let's go, Red. (camera 1)
Let's go, Pink. (camera 2)
Somebody buy Cornell a taller tripod. Or buy a used B-20 belly turret and mount the camera in the rafters.

No complaints about lack of HD tonight, Bill?
DirecTV Channel 628. Looks wierd cuz UHN at home wearing Blue and Screw wearing white.
Joe Devin deflects a Michael Kennedy shot in just as the powerplay expires! Should be an even-strength goal, but it was an excellent powerplay.
J. Devin!
Brown was giving Michael Kennedy enough room to set up an entire studio apartment in the final 30 seconds of that PP. His last shot gets deflected by Devin and in.
Brown's goalie's leg pads seem to be red and white. A little upset he wasn't recruited by Cornell or RPI?
The crowd seems dead.
The crowd seems dead.
The last ten or so minutes have been an energy sponge.
Awful offensive zone penalty on Nicholls with 1:10 left in the period.
Last night I was impressed by Barlow; tonight I'm really liking Collins -- he's going to be a solid power forward.
Pinball Wizard!
Smith beats Scrivens clean with a wrister off a nice drop pass just as the Brown pp expires.
Ya let a bad team hang around ...
In your own barn, none the less.
J. Devin!
Joe Devin converts a 2-on-1 with Gallagher for his 2nd of the night! Nice shot too!

Definitely. With the d-man cheating towards him, I was expecting the saucer pass to Gallagher. Clemente was as well, it seemed. ::woot::
Either Jason or the color-guy was whistling along to the horrid East Hill Car Wash jingle...cute.
4x4 against Brown. Lets see how we do.
Gallagher! Finally, a PPG!
The penalty box parade continues for Brown as they yet-again go a man down with 2:37 remaining.
Scoring orgy.
Collins with a softee.
Collins with a few seconds left! Another PPG!
5-1 final. About what we'd expect. While a lot of scoring packed in at the end, the score is indicative of the whole of the game control.
LGR!
Solid game, where were Dave's costumes tonight?
Solid game, where were Dave's costumes tonight?
He also changed out of his costume between the 2nd & 3rd periods on Friday.

After resurfacing the ice after the first period on Friday night Dave noticed a problem with the vehicle. He dug around underneath it a bit, found the problem, and as he pulled it out, loudly declared, "Puck." Andy Noel was walking by, told him that sounded too much like a profanity, and punished him by forbidding him to wear his costumes until further notice.
OK, well, maybe not. Anyone have a better explanation?

I heard from at least a 3rd hand source, so take it for what it's worth. Friday, he was told he couldn't wear a certain helmet because it would restrict his sight, and I guess Dave felt that the costume wasn't worthy without the helmet. I also heard that he had some car trouble on Saturday, so the costume simply didn't make it to the rink.

Thanks for the insight.
I can certainly understand the "restrict his sight" issue. I mean you never know when a dog, a deer, or a crazed Yale fan is going to jump onto the ice, right in his path. And of course it's not like he's been doing it twenty or thirty years, so would have sound enough judgment to decide for himself what he can or can't do. Very understandable.
