In the end Cornell needed wins from Grey, Anceravage AND Simaz. Too much to ask against the #1 team in the country. A great showing nevertheless.
There's no video on this, right?

Correct. Apparently it will be shown on delay on ESPN U.
They said something about it being on tv on the audio broadcast, but I didn't see it on any of the usual suspects like all of the college sports channels.

ESPNU showing it delayed, I believe.
Anceravage loss a killer.

Yeah, but it sounded like Borschel wrestled a perfect match. Tough one to lose but it evens out the win by Grey. I'm sure that there are Hawkeyes mumbling about how the Dennis loss was a killer.
Now we are lucky enough to face an Iowa team that isn't elite at the top weights and might still pull this out.

Not intending to knock Steve. He wrestled aggressively but Borschel turned two of his good shots into TDs. My point is, to win the match Cornell had little or no margin for error. We needed to win the toss-ups.

Agreed. The Simaz loss really hurts too - probably a little more because TODAY, he probably had a better chance than Steve.
Ugh. Moore in for Hammond when we need a MD. Not going to happen...

Simaz may still have been feeling effects of his bout with Varner this afternoon.

Maybe so - wrestling a guy that much bigger with a shoulder injury had to be tough. It sounded like he got outmuscled a lot, which might not have happened if he were at 100%. At the same time, the radio guys suggested that Beatty was walking wounded as well, so who knows.
We've got a whole season left for this to work itself out. I am really excited about this team.
