So what else is new?
Edit: And no response from the genii who bring this fine product to you.
RedCast is up. LGR!
Free audio or video anywhere? The Yahoo Sports thing isn't available, either, apparently.
Do others have audio or just video?

I've got audio and video working at 7pm.
My redcast keeps hanging up now.
My redcast keeps hanging up now.
Same here. :-(
My redcast keeps hanging up now.
Here, too, it hung right after the Nash near goal.
Mine hanging, too. They must be sending sound through the left channel only (my left channel doesn't work) because I have none. Time to install the new sound card. Speakers are fine.
I've had four looks at the "Nash near goal," however. Very exciting.

Al,
Listening through headphones, that's been the case for a number of the games (only one channel). You might be able to use the built in mixing software to push all the audio to the right channel.
Ive got nothing. Is it now working for you?
Just for comparison, I spent four hours today watching Cornell's two wrestling matches on livesportsvideo.com. Flawless. Free, too.
Yeah, I keep refreshing and hearing about how that was the best save of the weekend and then it stops.
Nothing going on the redcast.
"... nowheres, and made the save. Greening, clears it back into the Niagara end, working it into the center zone, Moran..." "... that may have been his best save of the weekend; Riley Nash had the better part of the net to shoot at and his pad came out of..."
Snippets of these two phrases are continually repeated at varying durations. RedCast, brought to you by William Burroughs.

Thanks, Phil. One-channel audio was used for the Cornell football games, but I've had no trouble with my getting sound on Redcasts on the right channel...until tonight. I'll try to figure out the mixing software.
We were going to drive up from Westchester for the game but the weather scared us off. We figured we could always watch on Redcast. Clever.

There used to be a link for both video and audio for home games, now it appears that redundancy is gone and it's video or nothing. Welcome to nothing.
Re: LiveStats (http://www.sidearmstats.com/cornell/mhockey/)
Cornell just failed on a pp, still 0-0, 12:54 to go in first.
For anyone looking for game info while redcast is dead, Brandon Thomas of the Ithaca Journal is doing a live blog. ithacajournal.com (http://www.theithacajournal.com/article/20090110/BLOGS05/90110007)
Cornell goal, according to Brandon.
Brandon Thomas reports that Mike Kennedy scored with 21 seconds left, assists to Patrick Kennedy and Tyler Roeszler.
1 19:34 Cor M. Kennedy 7 (P. Kennedy 2, Roeszler 5)
M Kennedy (assists: P Kennedy, Roeszler)
Maybe we can revert to telegraph. When Brandon Thomas makes an entry it kind of sounds like that.
End of first period, 1-0. Shots 13-7 Cornell.
Hey< I am class of 73 so I know what you mean. If we were just going one way, we would have done it, but it meant dealing witht he weather in both directions.
Hey< I am class of 73 so I know what you mean. If we were just going one way, we would have done it, but it meant dealing witht he weather in both directions.
What's the weather there? Just very heavy rains down here.
Redcast is back in action folks.
RedCast is back up.
Quote from: Brandon Thomas, Ithaca JournalAs for the goal, Tyler Roeszler forced a turnover in the neutral zone and fed a pass up the left wing to Patrick Kennedy for a two-on-two. Michael Kennedy beat his man to the front of the net and just shoveled in a perfect pass from his younger brother.
Seems to be working fine now,::dribble::
Perhaps my imagination, but I swear the video came back much sharper.

And the right-channel audio is there, too.:-)
Niagara scores on a well-executed 3x2 break and backdoor pass.
I am just getting constant rebuffering. Quit hogging my bandwidth.

anyone know why brendon nash isn't playing?

The word is that he's a bit banged up from last night.
Niagara's done a good job limiting our offensive chances this period.
Greening draws a tripping call. LGR!!! 11:00 to go
scary flurry by Niagara
Eight of eleven wins by one goal (I'm counting last night as a one-goal win).
Would have loved to see Greening stick that last one in.
This team is very very good.

The replay showed he hit the post on the backhand. That passing sequence was beautiful. It seemed like that they were playing with Pagliaro, but it was needed to avoid the other bodies falling all over the place.
QuoteThis team is very very good.
Appears to be very good. I'm not convinced they have been adequately tested yet. We will see what the second episode of ECAC play brings.
Next weekend is huge. Union gives us trouble even when they suck (and they don't this year) and RPI has gotten well against us in the past.
Brendon Nash: word in section L is that he was a healthy scratch. Overdue in my opinion.
Brendon Nash: word in section L is that he was a healthy scratch. Overdue in my opinion.
May have been "the word", but the pregame said he was banged up. I'd take that over "the word?".

If you're old, what am I?::thud:: You've just got to get used to driving in winter.::drive:: I've only missed one game in 45 years due to weather.:-P
