The Big Red wrestling team, currently ranked 3d in the country, won the Southern Scuffle (http://cornellbigred.com/news/2008/12/30/WREST_1230084221.aspx) in Greensboro, NC. More impressively, they did it without Troy Nickerson (#3 ranked at 133, but dropping back down to 125) and defending NCAA champion Jordan Leen (157) who were kept out of the tournament to keep them fresh for the dual meets. In fact, Cornell didn't wrestle ANYONE at 125, which surprised me.
Individual titles for #1 ranked Mack Lewnes (165) and #5 ranked Steve Anceravage (174) and 3d place finishes for Mike Grey (133) and Justin Kerber (184).
