Ryan Vesce is named the ECAC Player of the Week - 3rd Cornell player this year (Paolini, Baby).

...and Josh Gartner, Yale: Goaltender of the Week; Joe Zappala, Yale: Rookie of the Week

Has Lenny been named ECAC goaltender of the week at all this year? I think its interesting he gets very few of those accolades (probably because he's never forced to make those huge 45 save performances or anything), yet he's IMNSHO the best, most consistent netminder in the ECAC...

Yes, Leneveu was named the ECAC Goaltender of the week on November 25, after the 5-2 and 5-0 wins over Harvard and Brown, respectively.

Also - Matt Moulson was named Rookie of the Week on Dec. 9 (after the Western Michigan weekend).

I didn't realize this until someone mentioned it on USCHO, but Yale freshman goalie Josh Gartner is the son of NHL great Mike Gartner, one of only five (soon to be 6) players to score 700 goals. Just a bit of trivia.

In case folks missed it, Vesce received honorable mention for USCHO offensive player of the week.
