Spencer Lane is the starting point guard and vocal leader on and off the court for Detroit Country Day school, last years Michigan State class B champions. She has committed to Cornell for next year.

Her 4 other teammates in her class have all committed to Div I schools: one to Harvard, one to Dartmouth, one to Illinois and one to Georgia Tech.

IIRC, Detroit Country Day's most famous basketball alum is Chris Webber.
