Boston Can't Count.
In a game at Atlanta last week, the Bruins had THREE too many men on the ice penalties. ::nut::
Friday night, RPI got caught with seven skaters plus the goalie. The WRPI radio call was something like "RPI has a tremendous number of players on the ice right now".
As opposed to "RPI has a number of tremendous players on the ice right now". ;-)
Ugh, don't remind me. They all actually happened in the same period, which is just unheard of. I figured that game would be the death knell for Ftorek (he's gotta go), but wouldn't you know it, they drop a touchdown on Columbus the next day (PJ Stock adding the extra point was pretty sweet), and now he's safe for another few weeks. I hate being a Bruins fan.
:-( ::help:: ::worry::
You should try being a Rangers fan. ::rolleyes::
Personally, I've always liked Ftorek. At least he's got them in a playoff position.
The Sabres are only 12 points out of 8th, and moving up fast. :-)
Well, I'm a little happier being a Bruins fan today after finding out that Underhill was in the organization. I can't beleive I didn't realize that sooner - I must be slipping at my old age... ::snore::
Now I just need Shields and Raycroft to get hurt, and maybe I'll see Matt at the Fleet...
Seeing underhill play would be cool but Tim Thomas (yes, that Tim Thomas) is in front on him. Thomas played very well in a callup earlier this year.
But I thought Tim Thomas was all set to replace the over-the-hill Patrick Roy in Colorado. At least that's what Thomas said in a 1996 interview.
Tim has never been short on ego, that's for sure. ;-)
