Please post your organized (or disorganized) viewing parties/plans for the Friday night North Dakota game. Please remember that game time is 8:35 Eastern Time. Please don't post plans here unless you've verified in advance that your chosen location actually gets either the NHL Network or the Sioux Sports Network.

I just confirmed that the Sports Depot in Allston gets the NHL Network.
Any interest in getting a Boston crowd together?
Does anyone in CT get the NHL Network/would be willing to let a couple of us come over to watch on Friday?
I'm in the San Francisco area (actually in Redwood City), and am looking for someplace that'll have the game on. Does anybody know a place that will have the game, or know of a gathering?

HI RJC!
The Cornell Atlanta Alumni Association will be watching the Cornell - North Dakota game at the Famous Pub in Toco Hills. This was the site of our viewing parties during the 2003 run to the Frozen Four.

Glenn told me he's 90% sure they'll be able to, but won't be able to verify until during Friday's game.
I was surprised that the CCW hasn't planned anything... anyone know anything?
CCW's game watch organizer is in NY for Thanksgiving and tough to organize something during the break.
For Washington folks interested in the game, I suggest gathering at Penn Quarter Sports Tavern. They are very eager for college sports business, including ours.
They're at 639 Indiana Avenue by Archives Metro Stop. We did the Harvard playoff game and this year's Princeton opener there. It wasn't big enough for the 100+ we had for Harvard, but it should be fine on Friday. Call ahead on Friday to confirm a TV an ask for Matt Hunter.

You might want to call first and see what they mean by most tv's. I tried to get them to put on the Colgate game earlier this year and they relegated it to a small TV in the rear with no sound.
For anyone in Ithaca and those in TWCNY cachement area--they will be airing this game on Channel 244, NHL network, available as part of their "Sports Tier" package--costs $1.95 per month.I sign up every college hockey season and then drop it--it's a great bargain!

In Ithaca, the NHL network is also available in HD on channel 804, but I doubt the game will be broadcast in HD. Anyone can confirm or deny that suspicion?
Doesn't matter for me, I'm at my parents house in central NJ, where we do get NHL network but not in HD anyway. It's channel 276 on Comcast Central NJ for anyone wondering.
I just called and confirmed that they will be showing the game :) I'll be there with 3+ myself and looking for other Faithful!!
LGR!!

Unfortunately, the NHL Network is one of the "switched" channels, and not available for CableCARD cable subscribers. Those of us with a TiVo HD, or an HDTV with a CableCARD instead of a converter box, are out of luck. TWCNY does plan on distributing tuning adapters "by the end of the year" to TiVo customers, but that doesn't help tonight!
Looking forward to FiOS reaching Ithaca.
