Anyone else having problems with the text-message score updates this season?
Last season (for the most part), it worked beautifully with timely texts nearly immediately after the conclusion of each period.
This year, I'm lucky to get even the first period results by the end of the actual game. And often-times, the messages arrive completely out of order, with the 2nd period results showing up first, followed by the first period results, and then many hours later the final game result.
For the games this weekend, I was woken up at 2AM on Friday night with a text giving me the missing 2nd-period update, and 4AM last night giving me the first period update.
I just wanted to see if it was my phone that was having the issue, or if it was the system itself.
It's not just you. I'm noticing that as well.

I've turned my phone off the last two nights because last weekend's game results were texted wile I was sleeping...so it's not just you.
Anyone try getting Twitter updates via text?
Me too. At least once aT 4 am another at 1 or 2 AM. Have to put my phone on silent mode at bedtime, but some people use only a cell phone, so that's not an option. Who's in charge of the text message system?

yes, I have had no such problems with the twitter-text system.
