Had to step away for family emergency, but we win 4-3!
Just re-upped to RedCast for another year. No video for tonight's game, and the audio sounds like a radio having horrible reception.
Good, I'm glad someone else is having this problem, I thought it might be my technical ineptitude.
It has taken me 30 minutes to use the right browser, check the FLIP settings. Auugghh.
Still no score, 11:33 left in the 1st.
did CU change the company doing the bigred.com stats? big change from last week or is this coming from a WO feed?
Lots of chances for CU on the 4x3, couldn't convert on the 5 minute major, and W. Ontario pokes home a rebound on their PP.
Gotta start learning how to finish chances one of these years.
Michael Kennedy (Barlow) SH, 0:55 2nd
One shorty in each exhibition. Cornell takes a penalty right after the goal to make it a 5x3 for W. Ontario.
Guess Greg can't be bothered to update the thread with the new shiny Twitter toy.
PPG B.Nash
CU 2 - B. Nash (M. Kennedy) PP, 19:15 2nd
Interview with Casey Jones coming in the intermission.
I hear he better watch his speed.
::drive::
But seriously, folks. Let's go red.
3-1 CU - M. Kennedy (B. Nash) 10:35
W Ontario 2 - Petro? PPG
W. Ontario pulls the goalie and calls a time out with 0:46 left.
0:26 left, WOU ties it.
0:06 left!!
B. Nash (R. Nash)
Brendan Nash (?) to put Cornell ahead with only a few seconds left.
Wow, talk about your exciting finishes!

Let's not have to do it that way in the regular season. ::panic::
Big night for B. Nash and M. Kennedy

Frustrating game, but what a finish by the brothers Nash! Refereeing was terrible--someone tell these guys they are not supposed to be the center of attention. A rash of penalties on both teams, some of them deserved, many of them not. As a result, not much flow to the game, though the Red looked better in the third. Good crowd atmosphere, I thought, given the non-stakes. The "your mother/brother/boyfriend called" chant from D in the 2nd came through beautifully on the townie side.
Anyone know why Schafer was so upset with the refs when UWO tied it in the final minute? Goalie interference? Or was he mostly just annoyed with his team for letting a mediocre team off the hook?
