I guess this was a compromise from the original pitch, "Come. Cheat!"
You know the story about the Physics conference which was held in Vegas one year? They were asked not to come back because they didn't spend enough money on hookers and gambling.
Funny thing is the Vegas has noticed the same trend in CES vs. Comdex. The geeks at Comdex don't party anywhere near as hard as the sales-marketing types at CES. I discovered this after working both shows and noticed that hotel room prices were much higher for Comdex; I was told this is done to offset the reduced income from the casino floor.
Ummmm...CES...Comdex? Is this a reference that we're all supposed to get? Am I dumb or something? ::nut::
