Anyone else lose the feed right after the Glynn goal? Just going off of livestats now.
CU 1 BU 0 Glynn (Romero)
CU 1 BU 1 Hollingsworth
CU 1 BU 2 Hollingsworth (Williams)
CU 1 BU 3 Hollingsworth
CU 2 BU 3 Hurley (Ritchie)
CU 2 BU 4 Muldoon
CU 3 BU 4 Seibald (Glynn)
CU 4 BU 4 O'Neal
CU 5 BU 4 Espey
CU 6 BU 4 Hurley
CU 7 BU 4 Seibald
CU 7 BU 5 Feinberg (Walsh)
CU 7 BU 6 Muldoon (Walsh)
CU 8 BU 6 Hurley (Romero)
CU 9 BU 6 Espey (Hurley)
CU 9 BU 7 Hollingsworth (Kenney)
CU 10 BU 7 Espey
CU 11 Bu 7 Hurley (Glynn)
Yes. I'm sure if we ask they'll say the problem is at the Cornell end. It always is.
Looks like we need to do a better job of defending this Hollingsworth guy.
Did anyone lose the feed?

See above.

Yup, after the first CU goal. Going off of livestats. EMO coming up for cornell.

Good timing, then to tune in just in time for the Corenll goal.
Wait, first CU goal? There's been more than one?

Not yet.
Hello,
I apologize for the inconvenience. Cornell had to restart their encoder, the feed will be up momentarily. Please continue trying the link.
Thank you for your patience,

Just one goal
I'm running out of patience with this Mickey Mouse operation, frankly.
Feed is back.
We have just looked sloppy and uncertain--on O and D--for weeks now.

Agreed. Not since the first half vs. Harvard.
Score, Hurley.
2 nice saves by Myers in the last 0:05 of the 1st quarter
Myers two big saves at the end of the quarter. 3-2 Brown
Dartmouth 4, Princeton 1 in the first
If there is a 2-way tie they just use head-head as tiebreaker, right?
If there is a 2-way tie they just use head-head as tiebreaker, right?
Right.
O'Neill ties it up with a nice escape out of a double team.
Offense looking better than it has it quite a while this quarter. Stupid mistakes and bad shots being avoided thus far.
Unreal play by O'Neill, a freshman.
Followed by Espy. 5-4 Red
The high angle cameraman is really really bad at following the ball. Cornell is looking pretty good in the 2nd quarter here.
How in hell did Hurley miss that?
How in hell did Hurley miss that?
Looked like a bullseye right in the goalie's chest.
Dartmouth 7 Princeton 4 with 5 mins left in the 2nd.
Several good chances to open up some daylight but couldn't convert.
6-4 at the half, but we had some good looks denied late in the second quarter. Brown's fourth goal was a bit weak (I didn't see the first three), but otherwise Myers looked decent.

For your halftime listening enjoyment.
Edit...that game is at the half also. 8-4 Dartmouth.
Penn not helping Ivy image losing 10-5 to Towson.
What are we doing on the clears?
What are we doing on the clears?
Missing McMonagle.
Penn not helping Ivy image losing 10-5 to Towson.
Since when has Penn ever helped the Ivy image? ;)
Sloppiness has returned, and Brown is back in the game.
Sloppiness has returned, and Brown is back in the game.
So is Princeton, scoring on the man-up. 8-6 Dartmouth
Now 9-6 Dartmouth. Wish our game were 9-6. Gotta take better care of the ball.

3 goals in the first 2:30 of the 4th: 9-9 D&P tied.
I'm guessing P had a big letdown after last week's win. Looks like they've snapped out of it.
10-9 Dartmouth
Princeton radio guys giving frequent updates of Cornell-Brown
Yet another throwaway.
10-9 D over P; 10 min to go
<5 mins left in our game
10-9 D over P; 10 min to go
5:00 exactly, still 10-9. Dartmouth hits the pipe
Myers with some real nice saves to keep the game from getting close.
under 3 mins now...
Dartmouth scores with 1:42 left. 11-9!
They get possession on a push, and calls their last time-out. Princeton radio guys pretty grim on P getting a chance to get the ball back.
For anyone not watching, Brown commits 3 penalties on the same play, trying to be agrressive with a 4 goal deficit. All 3 called by the same ref... but the refs only have 2 flags each, so for the third one he threw his hat... classic.
Should be a crazy 6x3 for Cornell I believe (edit: 6x4 - can't have less than 4?)
seconds left..
Princeton does get it back.
Under 1 minute. Goal waved off on a crease violation by Princeton.
Final
Dartmouth 11
Princeton 9
A Brown win over Princeton gives the AQ to Cornell next week.
Cornell clinches a share of the Ivy title with their win regardless.

So its still 11-9, or do you mean the potential tying goal was waived off later?
Way to go Dartmouth
So...if P beats B next Saturday, P gets the AQ. If B beats P, C gets the AQ. Hope B will think they have a shot at an at-large should they win...or that they're good at playing for pride.

Sorry...Princeton got the ball back after the Dartmouth TO. They ran it back with 1:00 left, and apparently scored to make it 11-10, but that was waved off due to a crease violation. Dartmouth got possession and ran the clock out. 11-9, final.
Syracuse 9-0 over UMass at the half
Friday's game will be interesting: Hobart 7, Loyola 4 after three.

Looks like it's Hobart's last game in Division I. Just posted on laxpower:
GENEVA, N.Y.-The Hobart and William Smith Colleges Board of Trustees voted today to reclassify Hobart lacrosse from Division I to Division III. Citing the changing landscape of collegiate lacrosse and the challenges inherent in recruiting talented student-athletes at the Division I level without athletic scholarships, the Board voted to move to Division III starting with the 2008-09 academic year.

Added incentive for the Statesmen.

Good move for Hobart; they would never be able to compete like they did in the old days. Unfortunately it may mean the end to their playing us and SU.
The Ithaca Journal (http://www.theithacajournal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080426/SPORTS/804260337) pre-game article suggested that Seibald might rotate between midfield and attack. I see from LiveStats that he started at midfield. Did he stay there or did Tambroni move him back and forth as threatened?

As far as I could tell from the video he was in the midfield all game. He also took a few faceoffs.

I've been wanting to watch parts of the Brown game again but it hasn't made it to the RedCast archives yet, perhaps because of the long first-period gap in the broadcast when Cornell had to "restart the encoder."
My sense is that Jacob is correct in saying Max was playing midfield, but I wasn't paying close enough attention to say whether he was on the field with three other middies at any time in the game. At times last year he played attack on the EMO--like when he injured himself stopping short to avoid crossing the midfield line in the Towson game.
