We have to hang onto the damn ball.  Lack of possession will kill us.

Anyone know who's marking Schneider?

Al - is there anyplace near you with a dish or is everybody on the Cape held hostage by Comcast?

Ugh... down by two goals, and we're throwing away passes?!

I had DirecTV until last fall when I switched because the DirecTV HD dish is a problem for my house.  When their lightweight dish is available here I'll go back.

I think Uno in Hyannis has a dish.  I'm sure Dino's Sports Bar in Mashpee has one.

Sounds like we're not getting the ball inside.

We've gotta turn this around quick or it will get out of hand.

What was that procedural call a moment ago?

This is the lacrosse version of Pete Carril's offense.

Gotta stop with the unforced errors on offense.

No shot again.

The Seibald-on-attack experiment is so far a failure.

Yup. I'd rather have him dodging and cranking outside shots from up top.

So much for the utility of getting shots off... :-/

I can't see the game but it sounds like deja vu Syracuse game.  Not playing with confidence on offense since the first five minutes.

Tight?  Afraid to make mistakes?  Flat?  Out of synch without Max at midfield?

If Cornell goes on to lose this game it will put them in a tight spot for the NCAAs.  There are seven "automatic" bids awarded to league champions and six more will go to the four ACC teams, Syracuse, and Hopkins.  That leaves just three for the masses to fight over.

Seibald playing a bit more in front of the net and he scores a goal. Lets keep that idea going.

We're up 12-2 on faceoffs and are still down 4 goals. Going to have to keep winning them and keep the momentum up to finish the comeback.

Can't make a good clearing pass.

Just too many mistakes.

Closed no ground in the third period.  And another bad Myers clearing pass.  That makes three.

That pass out of bounds just says it all for this game.

Be interesting to see if they can rebound against Brown.  Another tough goalie.  Better not fall behind again.  Another loss and we can forget the tournament.  After today, we can forget getting a seed.

Sigh. I wasn't able to watch or listen to the game, but I can't say the loss is completely unexpected, given the effort that was seen during the last three games.

I'm a bit worried about the Brown game as well. I mentioned this a couple threads back, and I think billhoward thought I was joking. I was at the game in Providence last year, and I felt that the Brunos were able to hang with a number one team better than most cared to admit. Add Seligmann and a red hot goalie, and the Red have their work cut out for them. Depending on my health and the weather, I may try to make it to Ithaca for the game next week.

On the bight side, kudos to the w. lax team. They beat a ranked Yale team today and are now a possibility for an at large bid to the tournament -- definitely if they win two of the next three. Syracuse, Harvard, and Notre Dame are left.

Princeton lost to Dartmouth, meaning that Penn secured the league title. Cornell, of course, lost to Penn by one goal earlier this year.

Just got home from the game.  That has to be the sloppiest I've seen the Red play in a long time.  We couldn't get a ground ball to save our lives.  We just didn't hustle for most of the game.  And I am sick of seeing us try to play a posession game - it doesn't work!

I'm not optimistic about Brown, because I thought this was the game we would win, and Brown was the game we'd lose.  And Al's got it right.  Lose next week, and we can write off the tournament.
