Cornell with a 3-0 run to open play, but Dartmouth returns to score two unanswered goals.
1-0 Cornell. 1st.
2-0 Cornell. 1st.
3-0 Cornell. 1st.
3-1 Cornell. 1st.
3-2 Cornell. 1st.
4-2 Cornell. 1st.
4-3 Cornell. 1st.
5-3 Cornell. 1st. Finn.
6-3 Cornell. 2nd. Hurley from Glynn.
7-3 Cornell. 2nd. Espey from outside.
8-3 Cornell. 2nd. Seibald. EMO.
16-10 Cornell. 4th.
16-11 Cornell. Final.
Hurley notched five goals. Finn had a hat trick. The defense needs work.
(This is not for people trying to multi-task. Apologies.)
4-2. Cornell. Missed who scored the last Red goal, but I think it was Finn running towards the cage.
4-3. Red.
Finn behind the back. 5-3
Seems like Dartmouth can shoot from anywhere and it will go in.
Army over Navy 8-4 end of 3
Army over Navy 8-4 end of 3
Is that good or bad for our RPI?
Hurley with the hat trick. We have two more years with the Minnesota Maverick!
Probably keeps RPI steady but would keep us above Navy as well as Army in any rankings/seedings...if done at this time.
Seibald on the EMO!
Brown over Penn 5-3 in 3rd
Loyola over Georgetown 4-2 in 2nd
Army 9-6 final
Brown over penn 7-5 late
15 goals and 6 saves in this game
Shaky D once again today
LiveStats seems to be frozen at 10:19 in the 3rd, with the score 11-5. Any updates?
13-8
Thanks. I had a feeling from your post about the D, that Dartmouth had more than 5.
13-9 late 3rd
D not handling invert
13-9 after 3.
13-10 early 4th
Princeton will kill us if D plays like this
Glynn's feeds are simply amazing
14-10 Hurley scores
Great feed from Glynn to Hurley makes it 14-10. But I agree with Al; the D has been complacent and looks bad today.
Ritchie from Hurley 15-10
Hopkins sticking it to Maryland, 3-0 in 2nd; Terps often fold in second half of season
Finn on the man-up. 16-10
Finn 16-10 from Hurley
its the same D they let so many easy chances vs SU last week.. compounded by avg goalie play.. teams like SU have enough defense to slow down the CU offense.
One encouraging stat is that we've only got :30 of penalty time. But reading the posts makes me think this might be more from complacent defense than from discipline.
Sussman can only go to his left
Gradinger was the big penalty offender against Syracuse; Dorne has played in his place much of this game.
14 shots by Dartmouth in the third period
22-14 ground balls advantage for Dartmouth in 2nd half
Carolina losing to Ohio State 14-11 late 4th
Harvard 3-1 over Princeton in the first
Princeton's top gun Kovler reported out for year with broken ankle
Penn outshoots Brown 57-22 but loses 8-5. Brown's Burke makes 19 saves.
Harvard blows late two-goal lead and it's OT at 8-8
[Edit: H wins OT face-off, Hewit makes two saves, P gets ball and scores.]
Damn.

Who would've thunk it -- the loyal posters on this board being pissed when Harvard loses ::crazy::

No question: In this situation, Harvard sucked.
