Title: Songs for Dartmouth
Post by: BMac on March 07, 2008, 02:08:04 PM
OK, to the tune of Popeye, but very slow.

Joe Grossman's a Great Big Sieve (clap-clap)
The biggest who's ever lived
His sieveness' so great
DEvine, I must say!
(need last line)

I leave this with you, oh veteran hecklers, to come up with another line.

Do they still have Johnson and Swallows?

They still have a couple of Johnsons on the team, but most of the other good names are gone.  If you go back 2 seasons, though, you could make the following:

Lovejoy Bellows, Offers to Swallow Devine Glass Johnsons

Several years ago, Yale had a player named Cumming.   Will someone please explain to me how that seemed to get under the radar screen of the Lynah Faithful?    For the (presumably) four times that this young man visited Lynah, I fully expect to hear a "Oh I'm ...." chant.  TMK, it never happened.
