22-13 Cornell 7:40 to play 1st - if you believe livestats
31-16 C
Here's why Cornell lost the Harvard game ...
- Harvard smothered the Cornell power play. It looked as if the Cantabs still had 5 skaters on the ice.
- Harvard outskated Cornell.
- No matter who's the better team in the ECAC, Harvard seems to match up better against Cornell.
... if that's how it turns out. Let's hope Schafer works his magic in the locker room.
Brown's livestats says Brown 0 Union 0 with 6 mins left in the first.
34-18 CU. 3 min to go.
if CU shoots like this in the NCAA they will give someone a fit.. 43-20. 3's all over.
45-20 at the half
The refs in this game are aware of what the red line is for, right?
I'd like to see Barlow and P. Kennedy swap places.
I hope at some pt the Red remembers what the back of the net is for..
52-26 cornell, 15:58 left in 2nd half
A tie is a "win" for Harvard.
Wow, wait 3 seconds and then call offsides.
PP coming.
Not a good play by the captain.

awful call by dell. makes it a 5 on 3
Wow -- what a finish. I hope we can keep up the intensity while not letting it lead us into making stupid plays. Seems like that's happened too often to us when playing Sucks. Glad to hear the crowd's geeked up as much as I've heard all season too. Let's go Red!

Brown still up 1-0 after 2.
Two turnovers in front of the net in past few minutes, need to stop that.
harvard goal, 2-1 harvard
Sloppy in the defensive end...
Shit,
We've done nothing since Harvard went ahead...
And that'll be the game barring a miracle.
Kids just haven't learned how to win...will get another chance, however.
And that'll be the game barring a miracle.
Vinnie Auger is long gone, I'm afraid.
playing next week is not a bad thing for this team.. winning next week and playing union is not that unlikely a task to get done.
So how the tiebreakers work for the bottom teams? Assuming Brown wins?
Looks to me like if Brown wins it doesn't matter - I think RPI gets the tiebreaker and we get Brown. Announcer says Dartmouth if Brown wins. I was assuming the points on USCHO were before Dartmouth beat Gate. I guess not. Union still losing 1-0.
