Lenny is starting - as French Rage pointed out already on USCHO. Confirmed by tsn. Yay! Yay! Just hope that it all works out well in the end. I think that i might have jinxed Fleury. Ooops. Oh well. Go Lenny Go! The faithful are proud!
Marc-Andre Fleury reportedly missed practice yesterday due to an upset stomach. (There is no truth to the rumor that he ate at Pizza Hut following the Canada-Germany game.)
With a win or a tie, Canada will finish in first place in Group B and advance to the semifinals. Going into the tournament, Finland was expected to be Canada's toughest opponent in Group B. Finland's goaltender Kari Lehtonen is very highly regarded.
Sounds like the kinda break Lenny needed to get some time. Here's hoping he proves himself as we all know he can.

don't think that this one has been posted - if so chalk it up to a surprising day and an overly ecxcited canadian/cornellian hockey fan.

Well maybe I shouldn't have started to listen. Lenny pulled.
Lennie gives up two short-handed goals--both called "weak" by the announcers--and is replaced by Fleury.:`(
yeee gods. how shitty. makes me sad. must admit that both definitely looked weak. grrrr. feel bad that lenny isn't playing to his full potential.
I just hope this doesn't mess with his head.
where can we get results of the games

i was looking at the story on canadien jrs...looks like leneveu got trashed by the finns, and fleury saved the day...hopefully he was just VERY off his game.
