PRIN-1 Pederson (Ritchie, Wilson) 11:10 1st
PRIN-2 Wilson PPG (MacIntyre, Jubinville) 5:55 2nd
COR-1 M. Devin PPG (Scott, Sawada) 10:55 2nd
Thanks, I'm too nervous.::panic::
I'm about ready to sign up on Princeton.
livestats now up
10-3 Brown; another slow start
Princeton feels the need to have elevator music behind their game menu. Silly slackers. ::yark::
Tech says having trouble getting feed from Princeton.:-(
Brown scores first against Harvard.
Edit: No, the ECAC site just had a senior moment. It's really Harvard up 1-0 on Brown.
Tech says having trouble getting feed from Princeton.:-(
Someone cut the string.
From ICS: "Cornell is having an issue getting the feed from Princeton. It should be up very shortly."
anyone want the basketball scores in here or would that clutter things up? watching on redcast.
Peterson (3) Even
Assists: Ritchie, Wilson
Someone cut the string.
PULL THE STRING!!!! (http://www.pullthestring.org/Home_files/BelaPullTheString.png)
Princeton has 10 shots on goal in 10 minutes. Why does that pace "favor Cornell?"
Princeton has 10 shots on goal in 10 minutes. Why does that pace "favor Cornell?"
Because after all that shooting-and-scoring last night, they can't keep this up much longer?
anyone want the basketball scores in here or would that clutter things up? watching on redcast.
I would like to see score updates.
18-11 brown
Me too. Ouch, Scali gets creamed.
ugh, 25-13 brown, 7minutes left in 1st
25-13 B :-(
Brown-Harvard 1-1 through 1.
Princeton video is working.
25-19 Brown after Reeves drains a 3.
I wish we could figure out a way for Greening to stop getting penalties.
Princeton video is working.
Not through the RedCast link.
Princeton video is working.
No, I signed up with PU.

Princeton video is working.
Maybe if you subscribe and link through Princeton's web site.
Maybe it's Cornell's "poor server" (according to ICS).
They've got a mites, or so, game on intermission.
Princeton video is working.
Not for me it aint.
Shots 12-5 P; only two in last ten minutes; progress
30-26 brown
SLU-Union 0-0 end of 1.
As of now, if all results held (and Q beats Gate tomorrow):
1 29 CLK
2 28 PRN
3 24 QPC
4 23 HVD
5 23 COR
6 22 UNI
ugh CU 0-6-0 when trailing after 1.::bang::
We wanted to avoid the dreaded 2-goal lead.
33-31 B at the half
Brown shot 65% in the first half
[Edit: Dale and Wittman combined 0 for 14 in the first half; 15 for Gore.]

assists: MacIntyre, Jubinville
SLU 1 Union 0 in 2nd
now 1-1 SLU
46-42 cornell, prlly around 13minutes left
Damn, Scott misses an open net.
Obama's wife's brother just got a technical foul.
Moore is going to sit for high sticking.
Cornell PP. Let's get one.
Mike Devin, PP
Assists: Scott, Seminoff?
Nice; we want more
Ah, the dreaded 2-goal lead...now down to 1.
And was that Topher's 100th point?
That was a gorgeous pass by Topher!
Yup, that dreaded 2 goal lead. Most dangerous lead to have.
LGR. Need another one!
Yes, that was Topher's 100th point.
48-45 C; Dale still hasn't scored
I really like this camera angle -- you can see the plays develop.
The Jubinville, Wilson, MacIntyre combination moves the puck very fast
Ah, the dreaded 2-goal lead...now down to 1.

Well, he had 98 going into the weekend, didn't get any last night, and he has one tonight ...
Union 2-1
54-53cornell 8:09left
7 straight for Brown makes it 54-53 Cornell
Damn, call on Cornell just as we had them back on their heels. The PU PxP guy is excellent -- shades of Grady.
Princeton going on the PP. (Devin interference)
Kill red kill.
Damn, call on Cornell just as we had them back on their heels. The PU PxP guy is excellent -- shades of Grady.
But without the "goal line extended" phrase.
Too many penalties
Looked like the puck went in the Cornell net, no goal called.
The power play ended, Scrivens fell down, MacIntyre took a shot from inside the right dot and it went in. The puck bounced out very fast and the goal light did not go on.
The refs allowed the game to continue.
Very strange.
We kill the penalty.
However, there is an apparent? goal by Princeton. It looked like it was a quick in/out, but there wasn't a whistle and the play kept on going. No instant replay.
Looked like the puck went in the Cornell net, no goal called.
Shhh
Looks like no goal. Princeton PBP guy is upset.
Face-off in Cornell's zone 21 sec left in the 2nd period.
Anyone listening to Jason? What did he see?
Looks like we just caught a huge break.
Apparently I was wrong about Topher's 100th point. Would have sworn he got 1 last night, but after Arthur's response, I went back and checked the box score, and lo-and-behold, no points for Topher last night.
Well, Topher, how 'bout you make up for my faux pas and set things right?
LGR!!
However, there is an apparent? goal by Princeton. It looked like it was a quick in/out, but there wasn't a whistle and the play kept on going. No instant replay.
I'd love to see the replay. Scrivens was on his back and McIntyre blasted it. I didn't see the net move.
The ref said that he didn't see the puck go in. Maybe he is wearing sun glasses. The score should be 3-1.
Apparently the goal judge didn't see the puck go into the net either. If he had, he should have turned the goal light on and kept it on.
62-59..no idea how much time left. they're bad about that
Apparently I was wrong about Topher's 100th point. It was corrected as Gallagher (with Brendan Nash getting another assist). Gallagher also had an overwrite of Joe Devin's earlier assist.
So, 99 and counting.
Then again, they gave 2 assists to Marshall's unassisted goal.
64-59 4:04 left
64-59 4:04 left
Are we to assume Cornell is winning?
2;42 left, still 64-59 cornell
64-59 C with 2:42
I'd love to see the replay.
Wow, I love this internet/wireless/video s stuff **].
I can move my laptop from lab-to-lab, about my apartment while doing domestic chores and see, almost instanteously how Princeton should have that dreaded two lead back.
I'm not sure what the hockey gods are thinking/doing.::uhoh::
72-63 C with :54
74-65 final
That's three times we've had Kalemba dead to rights this period.
The Big Red is slowing down a bit. D is getting a little sloppy.
Union 3-1
~ 5min left in the 3rd, still down a goal.
Harvard 2-1 Brown final
Cornell still pressing on offense. Princeton not backing down offensively either.
3:03 left. Last shift had pressure from the nash line.
Unless we do something quick the pressure will really be on us next weekend.
for those who care, Cornell beat Brown 74-65 to grab total control of the Ivy league race.
Cornell women's hoops won also to improve to 9 and 1 and set up a huge road trip to H/D last week.
Cornell playing with an empty net. Looking a little tired, but taking good shots.
28 seconds left, time out.
Clarkson 3-1 over RIP final.
Dartmouth also winning 5-1.
We had some good pressure (post by Scott, 2? shots by Sawada). I hope we have a good "gotta get a goal" play off this faceoff.
The announcer at the basketball game announced that Cornell was up 2-1 on Princeton in the 2nd period. Damn
Bummer
Great game. Just couldn't quite get it done. Playing that well on the road against the hottest team in the conference after winning at Q... very good job, setting them up for a shot at home ice. Great effort by the guys.

Pretty sure the net didn't move because it hit the lower base of the net in the back and popped right back out. No 'net' to move because that part's solid. At least that what it looked like from my vantage point from seats near the top of the faceoff circle.
That's exactly how it happened, as can be seen on that link I posted.
